I am going to say it. Thank you David Bentley and the best of luck in Russia.The Peterborough born winger may have failed to light up White Hart Lane, but Tottenham fans shouldn’t be too quick to discount the effect Bentley has had on our team, his mere presence at our club has taught us quite a few things. 1882: All tickets sold
The Fighting Cock is amazed and proud to announce that all tickets for the 1882 blocks have been sold. The 1882 movement is about getting like minded Tottenham supporters together to support our young players. On 13 September 2012 Tottenham’s academy side take on the might of Barcelona’s youth development programme at White Hart Lane as a part of The NextGen Series. AVB calls time on ‘project’ Spurs
Tottenham head coach André Villas-Boas today admitted his preferred style of play would never succeed at the club. In a short address in front of a packed press conference, the Portuguese said he was disappointed that his energetic, pressing mode of football was unsuited to the Premier League. And here we are again, another transitional season, a brand new manger, whoops; I mean head coach, 3 below par performances, media slander and a lot of booing. Thus the nature of the fickle fan is revealed. Now don’t get me wrong, I too am not happy with a lot of things at Spurs. Reasons why this is a Happy Birthday Spurs!
Tottenham Hotspur celebrates 130 years as a club this week, but some may be forgiven for asking what is there to celebrate? After all Spurs have failed for the second successive season to qualify for the Champions League. We sacked our most successful manager in recent times, Harry Redknapp, hero to the Red Top papers, we sold two of our best players and are currently without a win this season.
