I'm learning Spanish at the moment, but I'm double guessing myself. Contratacíon is like recruitment or hiring, but I think it can mean 'agreement'. Cierra is 'close' or 'shut'.

So it's either that they've cancelled trying to recruit him, or have completed it.


Edit again. I'm being fucking stupid, why would they announce nothing. Must mean that they have signed him.
