Really, I'm just a bit sick of the whole thing though. I like getting behind our players and looking for the positives in them. I like not having a huge transfer window, but instead a small one with the right players being signed.
There's always so much crying about how tight levy is and nobody really revelling in our recent success. We just finished third and unearthed two dynamite gems, yet still all some people can batter on about is how tight fisted they think levy is and how he has held us back as a club, which our league positions in previous years would suggest otherwise.
We could spend big like Liverpool, but I still believe we will finish above them. I believe in our manager, I really feel he is the best manager in the league. I believe in our squad of players and I believe that if he turns around and says Edwards is good enough, that he is in fact good enough.
I was skeptical about dier playing in midfield, I doubted Dembele would ever be a good player for us and I never in a million years thought a 5m signing from MK Dons could make it even in cup games, let alone be a star player for us.
In the next few days we will hear bitching and moaning from certain pockets of supporters asking why we didn't spend big, when all I want to hear is, why can't our team push on from strength to strength and fucking smash it this year.
