Transfers Summer 2016 Transfer Window Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I was wondering the same thing. Even if you are not a fan of Son, I don't see why we would sell on without an adequate replacement in the wings. Before his injury Son showed promise, I am more than willing to keep him on board for another year and see if he can take a Lamela sized leap.

I think he bagged 7 in 27 in his first injury hit season. Lamela scored one in his first.

Stupid to sell a player we paid so much for without giving him a second chance, i mean fuck me even Soldado was given enough rope.

We ALL know your views you literally speak of nothing else. Why do you feel the need to post the same shit over and over again? It's Boring fella.
Is it boring because he's being shown to be right at the end of the window.
What is it now 5 players out and 2 players in. Close to GKN and chasing a 3rd GK. So we've not actually improved what was average depth least season. Loaned and sold 2 CM's bought Wanyama. Improved ST depth by virtue of not having depth last season. What other position has the First XI or depth been improved?

All people can come up with is starry eyed follow the pack sort of "Well if Poch is happy then I trust him". Really?! no one is actually critically thinking for themselves.

Anyone who knows me knows I am most definitely glass half full on virtually anything but this window has been underwhelming to say the least.

You could argue that 22 million isn't that much anymore, but I agree that it would be nuts to sell Son unless there's a top-notch replacement coming the other way (Draxler?).

It is actually possible to get banned, but that's mostly reserved for gooner trolls that come on in match threads to talk shit. It's not something that anybody really has to worry about, so long as they're genuine. Even the outwardly psychotic (aka gibbsy) haven't gotten banned.
Personal insults are sinbinable however it seems that this process is very selective in its implementation!

And how much did we spend on transfers including revenue received? Compared to the rest. Even the scum. We are well, well behind.

Enid have done ok. Built a decent academy. But they have also held us back from getting to the next level proper. We have lost probably our best off field asset in Mitchell thanks to penny pinching. Who knows how far we could go with him being listened to.

Even the stadium has taken far too long and the obsession with American Football is a waste of time.
Enid, I thought they were just a shit band from the 70s

Are we? The 6th-richest club, with the 6th-highest wage bill, yet the average league position over the past 5 years is 4.6.

EDIT: And a source for the "richest" claim, since I know that's a bit vague. Going by revenue, all in millions of euros:

1. Man United-519
2. Man City-463
3. Woolwich-435
4. Chelsea-420
5. Liverpool-391
6. Spurs-257

And where do Leicester come ?

Another year and another tranfer window of Daniel Levy pulling the wool over the supporters eyes pretending to go for players like Isco knowing full well we won't be getting him. Same shit, different transfer window. For all the supportes buying into it get a grip!! Levy does this every summer and still you believe.
