Sissoko is exactly the sort of player we have been crying for with the Dembele suspension (a powerful "runner" in midfield to play with Dier/Wanyama).
If Poch can get him to apply himself weekly, he'll be a bargain. If not, it's a bad signing. The talent is there for all to see though, and he plays a position we clearly badly need cover for.

Sissoko is a gooner lover and that is the only real reason not to sign him. But work rate and attitudes issues are things that either Poch will force out of him or he will be out the door next season. He'd strengthen us. Mousa, Wanyama, Dier, Sissoko and Winks is a strong central midfield.
