Was Cross sat next to the away fans and confused the noise they made with those of gooners? Such an odd, demonstrably wrong piece of commentary by him*.He's talking shit - even Neville kept on saying the atmosphere was dead / weird, and he's employed to talk up the Premier League.
Big up Jenas - he might well call the correct Top 4, albeit in the wrong order.Just pop this here

I think they're annoyed at our improvement in the last couple of years, and hope that if they just stay still and ignore us that we'll go away like a T-Rex.Media bias is apparent.
The love-in for Klopp and Guardiola in particular is pathetic but they also get a bit more pressure when things go wrong.
Over the last two seasons we have beem the best team in my less than objective opinion!
The pundits should be talking of that one 'find' player of quality that I feel would elevate us to the summit. Everything else is there right now.
But if the bias wants to persist the best way to deal with it is to keep defying the odds.
Absolutely guaranteed that at the start of next season we will see exactly the same thing again.Just pop this here

*unless there was an added note that he only meant between minutes 39 and 41.

This is starting to get silly...
At least you can say Lawro's consistentOdd that Lauro predicts Lollerpool to be "5th or 6th" and yet a glance at his cumulative weekly predictions tells a different tale:
+/- DENOTE POSITION DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LAWRO'S TABLE AND ACTUAL POSITION
POS TEAM P W D L PTS +/-
1 Liverpool 30 21 9 0 72 +2
2 Chelsea 29 21 4 4 67 -1
3 Man City 29 20 7 2 67 +1
4 Man Utd 28 19 8 1 65 +1
5 Woolwich 28 18 8 2 62 +1
6 Leicester 29 18 6 5 60 +7
7 Some other team........ -5
I was going to post similar. At the start of the season, never mind the pundits, most of US were thinking it was going to be tough this season because of Pep/Conte/Mourinho all taking new roles. To be fair... most would have had ArseAnal in their Top 4... main;y because no-one really remembers a time when they weren't!!
The Man City/Man Utd love-in is obvious... most of the media have secret man-crushes on either Pep or Jose... probably both...
...and the Liverpool love is purely Klopp-related! Those who won't admit to a secret semi for Pep/Jose, will go down the hipster route of going for Klopp...
They're supporting the MANAGERS, not the team in question! IMHO!
Before the season started it was all Pep v Jose with Klopp a close 2nd and Conte ahead of the chasing pack, that narrative died eons ago they just can't bring themselves to acknowledge us, fuckem anywayI was going to post similar. As much as just because - I would love to see us win the league just to see what they would say
"We talk to Pep, Jose, Conte, Wenger and Klopp about what went wrong and how they will all rebuild and push for the big prize next season"
"If you listen to Guardiola, he said the other day that to finish in the top four in England is a trophy because it is so difficult," he added.
