He scores wonder solos more than accidental.
Key point is Winks and Barkley comparison. Winks recycle possession with good stats but Barkley does things Winks can only dream of. Catch the keeper out at halfway line a hundred times he might score once, but I doubt Winks will ever score a goal like that 70 yard run. Not least at premier league level
Key point is that Winks is our player and Barkley is not and hopefully never will be.
Everything else is just nonsense.

Winks has played 21 senior games and isn't a forward......I doubt Modric could score that Barkley goal, maybe that means Barkley is better

I think he´s better for Spurs because I feel he is going to be one of those quality players that doesnt come along very often. Ive compared him to Modric, and I´ll happily stand for that.
I think Winks reads the game better, has better passing ability, is better in the tackle and has better vision and a quality touch.
Barkley is dime a dozen....Townsend, Zaha, Redmond......can be decent, can be utterly ineffective.
But yeah, Barkley scores a goal every 6 or 7 games, so what..
It is a sharing of opinions about two players. Am keen to hear another mate's opinion.

The Danny Rose interview was the definite low point but that situation was handled as well as it could have and we turned it around. Still have the unfortunate moment when Rose makes his first appearance back in front of the fans though, which might not be pretty.
If the Barkley situation develops into 'he walked out on Chelsea and waits until January to join us' then this window gets an upgrade to very good.
