It was a bit frustrating at times, because we can play better. Nowhere near our best.
We seemed to lack cohesion, our passing not so crisp, and our crossing was pretty poor.
It seemed we were not trying enough to beat a man and get a cross in, happy to cross from easier positions but not so easy to get a good cross in from there.
I think we changed the team balance too much, and Sissoko ended up playing in his worse position, before Trippier ends up as a left back. Some strange choices there.
Perhaps 2 games at Wembley in a week is particularly draining (doesn't it have funny grass, not the same as any other PL pitch) and we need another couple of weeks to get to peak fitness.
For all our chances and possession we were not hurting Swansea enough. That was a bit disappointing.
To be fair though It is a nightmare playing against a team that will never leave their half and are hell bent on putting in their defensive performance of the season against us. Watch them ship 4 goals next weekend!
Positives are we kept a clean sheet, and didn't lose... we looked to have lost discipline in the last 10 and thankfully didn't make any bad mistakes. A smash and grab would have been an awful result.

Yesterday I afterwards did feel quite bad about this game, but woken up today and its not the end of the world. We are not the only team dropping points this weekend so its not a disaster or anything.

You knows it's funny that the fans telling us to not worry about the fact that we dropped pts at home to burnley and Swansea this season were the same fans that said we had no chance against Dortmund. Then when you demand more from the players these fans are the same ones who ask you to get behind the players.

Love Poch but got it all wrong today. One point so out of six so far (at Home) so why get creative ? Trippier at LWB ? Son at RWB ? Sissoko a CM in a congested MF? Eriksen, Dele, etc weren't much better but the big man got it all wrong today from the go. FFS
CL hangover + Swansea lift thier game a little = nil fooking nil.
We went strong in the CL and this is the outcome , simple.

Name everyone of them and ill send the boys round.

FRUSTRATING. Hate these negative anti-football teams. Absolutely no attacking ambition shown from them bastards whatsoever yet they get rewarded. We have simply got to start such games quicker and get that first goal and carve em up. Far too ponderous first half.
We are able to deal with these teams just not after a CL high energy game Wed and changes . If anything it should be easier at Wembley. We were a tad unlucky, poor ref decisions and them lifting hier game because of the Wembley factor. FRUSTRATING yes poor no IMO.

Are you bi-polar?
Is everything in your world either wonderful or total shite?
Probably explains why you can be a good poster or the producer of some abject nonsense.

That's hilarious......Dortmund was immense, yesterday was crap.

How is that bi polar? It's just a fact.

You sound like someone who thinks because Dortmund was immense it means that I have to get my happy clapper out because we shot our balls off against Swansea. Not in my world Mick.

Just because it has been good, and will be again, yesterday was still shit.

So what jewels of wisdom give MOTD share with us? I missed it

& speaking of jewels , whatever happened to Phil porno star jewel?

I didn't tell you how you had to feel. You stated that Alli was rubbish and that only you could see it, and everyone else was a fool. The king's new clothes etc. Now you are telling me what I feel and what I believe and then criticising me for it. This is a favourite tactic of yours and it makes you look two Bob.
Yep, yesterday was a massive let down as we all thought we'd kick on. Some people are adult enough to accept it, and some people come on here bitching and crying like spoiled kids about "shit" footballers who let everyone down.
To you (insert team, manager or player you want to whine like a bitch about) were shit and don't deserve the shirt, and to me they were jaded and frustrated by a team that employed the tactics that we did on Wednesday but are now employing toxic tactics and the referee is on their payroll.

Nobody likes a whiner Sammy, particularly a "holier than thou" whiner

Frustration is a funny thing. People trying to be positive but indirectly slagging off some to rid the negayive energy. Others slagging off the club in black and white, totally blinkered to the bigger picture. We all need to be clear what happened, happened. A massive hangover from Wednesday, a few changes, Swansea enjoying the day at Wembley the crowd good as big as it was, slightly out of its depth in Wembley I feel that we are unable to reach those Heights that we reached last season at White Hart Lane so we will reserve them games for the big cup nights and top 6 games that's the way it will go this season, I feel.

Negative teams at WHL are differcult small pitch. Wembleys pitch is bigger still differcult? Well said by the way.

Yesterday shows us what we need, a Lampard/Gerrard/Scholes type player who can hit the net regularly from distance. I expect more teams to park the bus like Swansea, and we'll need to find a way through.

And you go again.....hyperbole and lies.

All because I criticized Dele. Did I call him a shit footballer? No I didn't did I Mick.

I see that my opinions are tactics, but yours are? What are they Mick? The right way to express yourself?
What was that about holier than thou? Laughable.

You don't dare to vent at the team because last season they were great. Bully for you.

I couldn't care less. If Dele plays shit then he played shit. Just like if Sissoko plays shit.

Keep you preaching to yourself. You pick and choose which players are fair game. Pathetic
