And? Newcastle currently have the third biggest stadium in the country, it means fuck all. The addtional revenue will come from the corporate facilities not the extra attendance. Attendance means fuck all in grand scheme of things, it’s about a club’s capacity to compete. You may not like it, you may view this as negative but it something called reality and it isn’t going to dispear because you don’t like it.
Newcastle is a stupid comparison to use mate. For a start it's in the North East. Hardly a selling point to the world best. Ticket prices are approximately half what we charge. They are very well supported but pretty much all that support is confined to the local area.
We have everything going for us that they dont. And most of these Asian fans you talk of are not died in the wool supporters like you and me. If Abramovich pulled the plug for instance and Chelsea returned to their natural place in the pecking order the Malaysian Blues would switch there allegiance quicker than a ArcspacE ArcspacE marathon run

after one shit result the Poch out crew are here, it's a joke and it makes me sick as reminds me of the entitled cunts of fans who we played yesterday!
I may be a fool but I enjoy the football we currently play, and I buy into the project, granted it's not the kind of instant success that Man City or Chelsea can afford to buy, but I also believe these clubs are a cancer on the modern game, don't get me wrong it hurts to lose, and it's still hurting now, but I would rather feel this pain every now and again then see my beloved club sell there soul to some billionaire who buys us instant success!
Granted this long term project might not earn us any silver ware, but I'm hoping it does, and until then I am going to enjoy the ride!

100% agree. I’ve never experienced a Tottenham like this before, and I’m fucking loving it.

And what if Poch leaves and those two specific managers can’t / don’t want to come to Spurs? If our only chance of improvement is being lucky enough to snag one of two managers you deem to be good enough, I would rather keep what we have thanks. I wouldn’t suggest that Poch is the best manager in the world, but I do believe he is the best we could possibly have at this time with the resources available, and I wouldn’t swap him for anyone.

Then we look at someone else what other choice would we have if leaves? I personally don’t think that would be the case, I think both would take it.

I don’t view myself as a stockholder, I’m just a fan telling you how it is. I enjoy watching us play, I’m a supporter. I don’t know what you are. Why are you telling me all this? Why aren’t you organising a protest or something? Banging away on here won’t change a bloody thing. The fact is that most people are happy with the progress the club is making - you’re clearly not, but refusing to address facts and annoying me is not going to bring about change. Have you written to the board like I suggested? Have you joined the trust? Have you actually done anything to affect the changes in policy you’d like to see? My guess is you haven’t and you never will, because deep down you know it’s pointless. If you get no enjoyment from supporting the club then just stop. No one is listening. By the way, do you attend matches? Do you put any money the club’s way?

So expressing concern at the club’ startegy now means someone has to become a full blown activist?! I’m telling you this because for some reason you keep following me around and responding to my posts! You can’t help yourself can you? If no one is listening then you are doing a very poor job of it. Listen I know full well I am in a minority on this but I have little doubt when their will be plenty more following suit when they see that the stadium isn’t the great leveller that it is being made out to be and if this silverless streak continues. We are exactly where Woolwich are when they moved into their new stadium, it’s the same comments being made. But hey how dare I annoy you with such views, the sheer audacity I have.

As I said before the money isn’t in general ticket sales, it’s generated from the corporate facilities. Woolwich’s corporate generated more than all of our match day ( corporate & general) at WHL. Chelsea are not spending close to a billion on a new stadium to just to add an extra 18,000 seats. They are doing to to expand their corporate facilities because that is where the money is. As for the Asian market I think it is a bit disingenous to say that. Let’s say that we’re actually true who do think those supporters will flock to? It won’t be us it will be City.

Am I not allowed to respond to your posts? And again, I’m not following you around. You’re not a protected species. Your posts are fair game, like anyone else’s. If I disagree with you I’ll say so. You are afforded the same privilege.

Stability is the Key to success. Ferguson and Wenger have proved that and I applaud Poch for talking about staying 20 years. Sadly I expect there will be a bad spell and he may not survive that. Burkinshaw did not get instant success but we kept faith and he came good. I believe our squad is stronger this season than last but that does not mean we will do better as so many other things come into play including no home matches at WHL and injuries. Yesterday on reflection we did not really look like scoring but nor did the Spammers in the League cup. A goal changes everything and has done before for us but yesterday it did not happen.

That post makes you sound like some sort of victim. You are very confusing, i have no idea what your expectation levels are. From your posts i get:
You rate Poch but want him gone for someone better.
We've reached our ceiling and can't go any higher.
The new stadiums a waste of time as it won't make a blind bit of difference to our stature.
You want a new manager to target domestic cups and forget the League and Champions League because we're not good enough.
Forget expanding our Global fan base as other's have already cornered the market.

So 6th every year and a domestic cup would make you happy or am i way off.

Yeah I’ve lost track as well....

We’ve reached our ceiling but could be doing better with a different manager. I’m confused.

Only one problem with that is that no one has called for him to go. Dam these fictitious crews! I’m so angry at these non existsent statements.
Not yet they haven't. But the rumblings have started, with some suggesting he picked the wrong team or made the wrong subs. As if they're better qualified like. I'm of the opinion that we have the best manager and coach of young talent in the world. And the reason that performances and results like yesterday continue to blight our progress is that we don't invest sufficient funds in the transfer market and rely too much on Poch to work miracles within our break even strategy. Although I think I'm in the minority mind

International football has fucked us up in my opinion, Poch has 4 months now without any crappy international breaks, like the last 2 seasons he will get some momentum and cohesion now, he does need to accept the titles gone this year, he needs to go balls deep with FA cup and champions league, we have more chance of silverware chasing the cups than the league. Of course he must make sure we get top 4.

Then we look at someone else what other choice would we have if leaves? I personally don’t think that would be the case, I think both would take it.
Your argument is self contradictory. You think the top managers in Europe, who could walk into just about any club, would take the job here for less and with far fewer resources. Well if we agree for a moment that is the case, which I personally doubt, it can only be because of the way the current manager has raised the profile of the club. They certainly wouldn't have taken over from Sherwood right?

Victim of what exactly? As for my expectation levels I want us to be what we are and not pretend that we are something we are not. We are Tier 2 club and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that because we can achieve what most clubs cannot . I want us to win silverware, I want us to achieve what the likes of Sevilla have done in the last decade and not be so fucking arrogant to think we are above such trophies. What I don’t want is to chase fantasies that you want. And I’m sorry but where exactly did I state the stadium shouldn’t be built? Can we please just not lie. The stadium should absolutely be built, it means an extra 24000 supporters can watch us each week and bridges the financial gap between us and Liverpool and Woolwich and moves us significantly above the likes of Everton, Vila and Newcastle. And again where did I say that I want Poch gone? Or that I wanted us to prioritise the cups at the expense of the league? Absolutely needless lies to make.
