Naivety and over-confidence cost us tonight. We played right into their hands. These cunts have done the same to better teams than us; we thought we could get through with energy and momentum, but against these lot you need steel and snide. We thought we were in control but they were just waiting for their chance, waiting for us to slow down, for less than just 5 minutes, and that's all they needed.
No. That was our chance. This result marks the beginning of the end for this team. Summer sell off. Poch will leave too.- Beat Madrid
- Beat Dortmund twice
- Draw at the Bernebau
- Draw at the Juventus stadium
It's been a memorable one.
We've had worse games. We've lost to worse teams.
It hurts because they were good for about 30 minutes over 2 games and knocked us out, but every season under Pochettino we learn. We go again.
Just checked the results, disappointed but not one bit surprised.
Some cunt on the radio calling himself a Spurs fan saying after tonight’s inept performance if we don’t win the FA Cup Poch has to go, what rock do these cunts crawl out from
No, it’s not as if it’s a trait. You do know we came third in a two horse race?
The subs were fine. Lamela did well and Llorente looked a handful. Poch should have taken Dier off earlier though.I would have liked to have seen Moura on with 20 to go to get at those two centre halves with pace but Erik did well when he came on. Onwards and upwards.

Gutted.
I don’t put people on ignore, it’s more about not wanting things to turn full-on negative than having an issue with anyone, which I don’t.To be fair you could put him ignore.
Sadly I have to agree with this. As much as I love them for all that they give and without fuss, they are just too limited to take us much further as first choice players. Same with Dier in my opinion. I had been worried about Dembele coming into this, cause he looked like he was running on empty after giving everything in that run of tough games earlier on. Jan is occasionally prone to having a really off night, and this was one. Harry hasn't been at his deadliest best for a little while, looked static ton and against that caliber of defence he was never going to win too much physically. These nights are simply too big for Davies and Trippier bottled it tonight
