38 games at PSG he seemed to gone well under the radar
Have to admit to having never really heard of this guy before! But just had a quick look at his stats and they are pretty damn good, especially his loan spell at betis, only problem is they have just taken the option to sign him permanently and they are unlikely to turn him around that quickly. But he’s definitely one of interest now 🤔 probably a better option than Andre Gomes.

Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli: "Trippier is very close to joining Napoli. Defensively he’s very strong. He’s even better than what Maicon or Cafu were defensively. Napoli’s official radio station claims Tottenham Hotspur right-back Kieran Trippier is ‘very close’ to joining the club this summer. According to Valter De Maggio, the director of Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli, Trippier could soon be headed for the San Paolo, despite interest from Juventus." https://www.football-italia.net/137806/trippier-very-close-napoli

Taxi for Trippier (not Maicon)

In all seriousness Trippier must have a good (or imaginative) agent as he's been linked with ManU, Juventos, Napoli and a few other decent clubs from those clubs sources not Trippier - as well as from an Everton source that we've heard they are interested.

So I'm hopeful of a decent fee - maybe not the same size as we might have got last summer but certainly not a £15m or £20m fee some have suggested

I reckon I could get a game in Italy at this rate

So after some people melted after a terrible first half, which was a reflection of most of our games recently, some posters thought they would buy the ownership rights to who can celebrate, and who is and isn’t a fan.

( Joe Clash Joe Clash etc etc cough cough)

Let’s see who’s still supporting the players when the window opens shall we eh........LOOOOL

Well, whats clear is that if we are not going to sign Llorente for another year; we need to get a target man who can win long balls, hold them up and put a header in the back of the net. Plan B executed perfectly.

Any thoughts on who could be available?

I think weghoerst and poulsen would fit that perfectly. Poulsen is even pretty fast while Weghoerst is a real tank.

That just won’t happen even if Toby and Eriksen leave.
Say they do leave, then I don’t see us signing a CB after investing some 60M in Foyth and Sanchez. And rightly so, they need to be moulded into top players.

Aurier, Tripper and KWP...I can see Trippier going to Everton where he’ll do well, KWP is 50/50 whether he gets a shot next year, but the signs point to a loan.
I can see us shaping Foyth into a RB before we sign one to be honest.

Eriksen will be replaced, and I can see us going in for Grealish again for silly money. Don’t know if Rabiot is still an option but I think the club would address this departure seriously.
(I’m fully aware that Rabiot is different but apparently Eriksen is irreplaceable so we have to change our style of play)

Janssen will probably go, but I can see us just sticking with Kane and Llorente up top, and maybe give Sterling a number.

Dembele should be replaced of course, but just don’t see Dier or Wanyama moving on.
Maybe Skipp loaned out and a CM signed (Rabiot two birds one stone)

So in short I could see us signing an absolute maximum 2 players.

I honestly don’t think the club agree with the hysterics over our central midfield and full backs.

I know it's the safer bet to be highly skeptical on here about signings but lol.

The way Poch has hinted at changes, I really can't see us do less than 5 signings (if Eriksen and Toby leaves). Tripps might go to Napoli, so we need a new RB (it's also our most vunerable position imo). Two CMs, with one able to play a DM role, a CAM and another attacking player (Lamela might be sold as well).

Anyway, we will just have to wait and see.

Edit: Levy also HAVE to back Poch now that he's reached the CL final. Also to show the players that we mean buissnes.

The ultimate TFC paradox mate........"support the players!!!"

Just replace them in the summer though. My question to the masses:

Is the back up still shit?
