If bidding 80 million for Maguire is ‘ambition’ then I’m glad we don’t have any

Yeah mate, it's public knowledge Spurs are gonna whack 70mil down for a bloke called Bruno.
Easily one of the best right backs in Ligue 1. Certainly better in defense than Tripps and Serge in my opinion.

Atal has one good season and kinda sprung out of nowhere.Better than Atal or simply much cheaper. I think we all know the answer.
Release clauses are maximum price rather than a guide price, until recently they were very rarely activated in Spain as the selling club realizes that the release clause is a never never price. If we believe the stories (big if) then we offered Betis over 50% more than they bought him for last month - quite a good return.Meanwhile Levy is putting in 31M bids for Celso who has an £88M release clause.
I posted earlier...He's good and very consistent.
He won't stay unless he signs a contract, and I can't see him signing a contract. He will go to PSG or Bayern or someone.Reports suggesting Madrid don't want Eriksen and solely want Pogba this window, and that Eriksen will now sign a new deal worth £24m.
If he stays we still need 2 midfielders as it's our weakest area. If we could bring in NDombele and either Van de Beek or Lo Celso then we would be sorted.
A midfield of Eriksen, NDombele, Lo Celso/Van de Beek, Winks, Sissoko, Dier and Dele to choose from would make us much stronger next season.
International transfer window only opened today.Another window where we will miss our main targets because we left it too late. We will make some good/interesting signings with 2/3 days left in the window which isn’t enough time for them to get used to our tactics and the media will be all over them straight away so they will struggle from the get go.
I can already see it happening. Hopefully I’m wrong but this is the norm for us, unless we keep up our new trend that we set in the last two windows.

Comes down to who you want to believe. I liked
As I said earlier...Be amazed if we were seriously considering a 29yo Sakai. I don't dislike him, he's solid enough and can get forward too, but there are much younger, more interesting prospects in Ligue 1 that have potential and more miles ahead of them - Atal, Henrichs, Palencia, Celik, Amian, Sidibe
