Yeah mate, it's public knowledge Spurs are gonna whack 70mil down for a bloke called Bruno.

Is it? I was told that Spurs have informed Fernandes' agent that we are prepared to meet the 70m asking price, the agent will now speak to his player and if the player is interested then a bid may follow ... that's how it's done. No point bidding on players who will never sign, that just makes us look like fools.

It's like prodding lemmings .... if you don't like the post be a grown up and ignore it .... why are so many people so bitter and twisted? ... it's really quite sad to see it over and over again ...

Who have they signed? It’s not ambition it’s just rumours

They have already signed a player and it's more than rumours, they have already put a bid in for Wan Bissaka that has been rejected but you can bet they will make another and sign him.

Meanwhile Levy is putting in 31M bids for Celso who has an £88M release clause.

In other words, he has ZERO intention of buying him.

I don't know how people aren't wise to Levy and ENIC yet after all these years and all these windows, it will end the same way yet again, only this time it will be the best manager we have ever had since Nic leaving us.

If bidding 80 million for Maguire is ‘ambition’ then I’m glad we don’t have any

They want to improve their side, they release that this isn't 2002 anymore and players are overpriced, especially in the PL and especially when clubs don't want to sell.

That being said, if they spend 80M on him and end up finishing top 4 and we end up finishing 6th, do you think they will give a toss that they overpaid?

Release clauses are maximum price rather than a guide price, until recently they were very rarely activated in Spain as the selling club realizes that the release clause is a never never price. If we believe the stories (big if) then we offered Betis over 50% more than they bought him for last month - quite a good return.

Reports suggesting Madrid don't want Eriksen and solely want Pogba this window, and that Eriksen will now sign a new deal worth £24m.

If he stays we still need 2 midfielders as it's our weakest area. If we could bring in NDombele and either Van de Beek or Lo Celso then we would be sorted.

A midfield of Eriksen, NDombele, Lo Celso/Van de Beek, Winks, Sissoko, Dier and Dele to choose from would make us much stronger next season.

He won't stay unless he signs a contract, and I can't see him signing a contract. He will go to PSG or Bayern or someone.

Van de Beek is the only player i would want us to get out of the ones we have been linked with this last bit. But like i keep saying no change is needed.

Another window where we will miss our main targets because we left it too late. We will make some good/interesting signings with 2/3 days left in the window which isn’t enough time for them to get used to our tactics and the media will be all over them straight away so they will struggle from the get go.

I can already see it happening. Hopefully I’m wrong but this is the norm for us, unless we keep up our new trend that we set in the last two windows.
International transfer window only opened today.

Be amazed if we were seriously considering a 29yo Sakai. I don't dislike him, he's solid enough and can get forward too, but there are much younger, more interesting prospects in Ligue 1 that have potential and more miles ahead of them - Atal, Henrichs, Palencia, Celik, Amian, Sidibe

As I said earlier...

He is better than Tripps and we will probably make a profit selling an Inferior player and bringing him in. Marseille need to sell bad so maybe our thinking is we can reinvest the cash in other areas whilst still improving on the rb spot.
