Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Barcelona confirmed Coutinho is going on loan to the premier league before window closes, the following four have all registered their interest

United
Liverpool
Woolwich
Spurs

Sell Eriksen and loan Coutinho sounds very Levy

If that is true and that’s a big if it would be between us and Liverpool, he played there but also played under Poch.

Notabadsquad will make a decent point every once in a while Lion just posts nothing but shit until the heat death of the universe.

A broken clock is right twice a day. He's a shithead who moans just as much during the season as he does during the transfer window.

Honestly, who knows that the fuck we're going to do in the next two days. We absolutely need to sign another midfielder or more dependent on outgoings, and there aren't many people who disagree with that, but there's no point losing your fucking shit until the window is shut.

So, just so I understand this:

Scum getting £72m Pepe and possibly Coutinho weakens them and is laughable.

Spurs getting one player untested in PL makes us awesome.

Ok. Understood.

I mean Scum are miles behind us. We romped to CL qualification last year and beat them by a massive POINT marginb. What kjokers they are and what world beaters we are.

If only I was a positive love me Spurser.

If only right enough

But you’re a Gooner Troll as most of us already know

Yeah, another third place, nothing to worry about. Laughed at Woolwich for years how they were content with top 4 finishes and here we are doing the fucking same.
Don't be a dumb twat. Comparing Spurs in 2019 to Woolwich from 2005-2017? They had 20+ years of Champions League. They finished top 2 in the league for like 8 fucking seasons in a row. They finished above us for 22 years in a row. They had triple our revenue stream. People didn't start banging on about fourth until they'd been in the Champions League for 15 straight fucking seasons.

We've just now pulled even with Woolwich in terms of revenue and surpassed them in terms of on pitch performance because of Poch and Champions League football for 4 years in a row, but now were the same as Woolwich was for 12 years? Fuck off.

That’s a fair point but why are you moaning about it on a football forum and on a transfer thread days before deadline, what do you expect this place will be like, particularly with how we operate as a club moving in players close to deadline day.

Just switch of TFC, and get ready for Villa then log back on once the season starts and the transfers are finished.
I know, I know I can't help it. Just love most of the banter on here....its like crack haha. So fucking bad for my health, fucks with my head sends me on a total emotional rollercoaster.....but I just can't help myself. Plus I need to keep up with Lion....that guy knows everything!!

Bravo. I appreciate the commitment.

The best way I can describe how I see it is that it's like Poch being asked every season to cook a beautiful dinner for the fans. He tries his best with what's available but Levy keeps coming back with only a few of the ingredients on his shopping list and also tries to save money sometimes by buying mutton instead of steak.
I have a colleague who is a Spurs supporter and a psychiatrist. He says that Levy is a classic "control freak" who is quite unable to allow anything to happen without feeling that he has somehow had influence in the decision.
