Transfers Summer 2019 transfer thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The loan move for Lo Celso is pure genius from Levy, thats why he’s the best around. Frees up £40m for another deal, potentially Dybala, and screws over PSG.
Those loan moves with obligations to buy have been pretty common for quite a few years. Surprised so many haven't noticed them. I am sure levy would have known about them for ages but never needed to use that option or else he would have.

I personally loved the barren widows but each to their own.

No, it's not a great transfer policy to bring in 3 players near the end of transfer window, the premier league season starts next week and those lads if we succeed in bringing them in haven't had a chance to have a preseason with us or get settled in.

"If we wait until May and sell before signing, it's so difficult to bring in players that can help. This season is a very good example. We signed good players but it was so late, with no preseason and then they have to play.

"You need six or seven months for the players to adapt themselves to the team, the dynamics, everything. And that is always against us. We were talking about how important it is to identify our targets and on 3 July, when we start preseason, have them here. If not, it's so difficult for them to help the team. And during the season, you're going to pay."

But think of the wages saved since the window opened... lol
This is really unbelievable to me. If we can pull it off just think of the excitement it will bring to our first proper season back home. Unveiling these guys on the pitch before the Villa game is going to take the roof off.

Nobody can ever say a bad word about Levy again if he gets this signing done.
Honestly, it feels a little bit like those days in the 90's when we got Klinsmann in and was a kid getting giddy.

If nothing more at least it's brought back memories of my youth.
