Honestly, this Dybala saga has moved the goalposts for a successful window so far, that short of his signing I'm not sure anything would make it a success for some people. It sounds like Sessegnon is done now and hopefully Lo Celso is next.

If we don't get him, I guess we'll just have to settle for Kane, Son and Moura. I guess it's just amateur time for us now without him. :pochcry::pochcry::pochcry:

If we end up with Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sessegnon, is everything settled and fixed? No. Do we have added depth and are bringing new blood in the squad to challenge our current players, build depth and prepare us to challenge for a new season? Yes.

I'm not sure why anyone would think that we could fix anything and everything in just one window.
On the flip side you could equally say I am not sure why anyone would think signing no one would be a positive thing. But many did.

Needs must. At this point selling Eriksen is more beneficial to us than keeping him imo. £40-50 mil is an entire CL campaign that we're just going to let go for nothing.

  • If we keep him and make the CL we've gained nothing, we would have got that anyway from selling.
  • If we keep him and don't make the CL we've lost £40-50 mil due to not selling.
  • If we lose him and make the CL we've made £40-50 mil plus CL money.
  • If we lose him and don't make the CL we've at least got 1 seasons worth of CL revenue from his sale.

Yup, definitely retarded.

Poch is as much to blame then.

If he isn't ready it's because his development has been poorly handled. A bit like how he poorly handled KWPs.
I think you're making some assumptions here to come to this conclusion.

Could be that Sanchez isn't training as hard as he needs to. Could be that he's not grasping the concepts he needs to. I'm not saying you're wrong, but could be that he simply isn't developing because he's reached the peak of his development. On our end it's all speculation as to the reasons.

In all seriousness - we know Sessegnon has signed (due to the photos). Every single media report has said that Lo Celso has signed.

The only conceivable reason we're holding back on announcing those is that we're still trying to get Dybala through the door.

No, no it's not.
We ALWAYS take forever to announce new players.
I swear you've all got no memory what so ever.
