Have we signed him yet? Is he any good? Never heard of him, surely someone must have been following him from a young age and not in a jimmy saville kind of way! :vert:
 
The club seems to like announcing signings when both us and the yanks are awake and paying attention to social media.

I see a middle of the afternoon announcement tomorrow happening for this one. Maybe a walk out onto the pitch before the FA Cup replay.

was really promising when appeared but completely stagnated in the last year. He is 20 million player not 50

Sometimes a player just clicks at a club though. For example apparently Renato Sanches having moved to Lille is starting to show he can get towards the standards his early showings promised.

Sanches is a fringe player at Lille, nowhere near as good as was suggested when he was in the Euros with Portugal.... He's played like 40% of their minutes so far in the league, not very good.

And he was a much much bigger prospect.

Let's give Gedson a chance, but we shouldn't delude ourselves, he's not going to go from Benfica's B-team straight into a CL side's first XI. Hopefully he can become good, hopefully he isn't a Mendes favor.

Nobody is as good as Pedro Mendes when it comes to doing things from his own half.
IF only we had VAR back then.

Come to think of it, perhaps it wouldn't of made a difference given some of the decisions given recently.
