I think Modric was our record purchase at the time.

My point is that I don't think many big buys over the years would have been done purely on a Levy whim.... Be it by a DOF or a manager he'd have been heavily steered.

Jovic would be an exciting addition. He really dreamed of Madrid though so not sure he’ll have the hunger to play for us. He’s about 5’11 too? Is that big enough for José?
