If one think I’ve learnt over time is that football fans and hypocrisy as bedfellows are the norm rather than the exception.
A prime example of that is sammyspurs sammyspurs description of Mourinho as a dinosaur manager who constantly loses the dressing room, is a poor mans Benitez and can only win stuff with an open cheque-book.......

Before Levy hired him 🤣

Good work Joe Clash Joe Clash in exposing one of the most hypocritical posters in the history of football forumden

Yeah you see I also said Salah was shit, Klopp was shit and that Poch would be here for 20 years.....
Oh well

I dont want him out but I also dont think his the greatest chairman in the world.

Questions should be asked and the free ride I feel he sometimes gets isnt deserved.

Transfers have been an issue for years. I remember screaming for a dm or a left winger during the jol days . I remember Berbatov, poch was constantly not backed , the worst one was when we had a genuine chance to win the league and he delivered saha and Nelson to harry. But his had huge successes to balance that.

As fans we pay heavily for being a bug club. Us and the scum pay the most so why shouldn't we be asking the club to challenge.

The stadium is beautiful but we have gone the scum route it seems ,except our Wenger got the boot way before the original.

We need a DOF, right now were like a posh west ham in that we dont really seem to have a longterm stable plan and were relying on names - see mourinho. I hear the accusation that poch didnt want one.

Well ok but why then hire another guy who wont want one. I feel like this appointment was a waitrose plaster over an open wound. And it could really backfire.

Mourinho I fear wont be as easy going as Poch on terms of transfers. If he doesnt get the striker he wants would anyone be surprised if he doesnt go for it in the media? No way is he taking the blame.

A big big moment for the club but maybe the rumours are true and now Enic are in a position to sell so that's what they're planning. If not I'd like to know what their strategy is because right now they dont seem to have one.

I didn’t and I always celebrated us getting it but you’re making a totally different point

I wanted Poch out but would never have advocated similar type banners stating that

Yeah I’m just stating I have found double standards rife in football.

Calling John Thomas John Thomas out for that is fair enough. It’s a forum. That’s why we are here.

But he’s not the only one, and he definitely isn’t the first and he won’t be the last you can point a finger at.

Yeah Sammy, like many of us, changes his mind about stuff. He also makes far more posts than anyone else so there’s going to be more ammunition there against him.

Who would have thought August 2018 when Poch was handing mourinho a kicking up at OT that we would find ourselves here. I know I didn’t.

Can clearly remember looking out over Gwithian Beach raising a beer to Poch and Spurs and thinking happy days, Mourinho is done done..... so glad we have Mauricio.

Football is nuts.

They do have a strategy a simple one it's about generating as much money as possible with minimal outlay, the owner nor his gimp have any design on being successful on the pitch if it happens then fine it's a bonus otherwise it's a case of fleecing people like you or me.

If you read my comment that went with the post you'd actually see I wasn't advocating it either.
So criticising me for posting it just looks like a cheap shot tbh

No it isn’t

My point is why post it in the first place if you don’t agree with it ?

Makes you sound like a bigger hypocrite than usual
If that’s possible!

Absolutely

We're following the Woolwich model though aren't we?

What do you suggest, ignore all criticism of Levy.........

In the Levy out thread!

:levylol:

No I’m advocating against the childish practice of displaying banners like that at a game where our players are trying to get a result

So you think that would help them achieve that displaying that banner?

That's the point. People change their mind to suit their agenda like levy can do no wrong for example. If west ham hired mourinho when we did, you may want to believe all those critics of mourinho would change their mind & say what a great manager he is etc. But you're fooling yourself.

I don’t give a fuck which thread it is

Banners like that are shameful and we’re better than that
Aren’t we??
Honestly baz, I know you think the players deeply care what the fans think of the owners BUT they don't. For example I don't think dele was going to have a great game but looked up & saw the levy out banner, & then mentally crumbled & couldn't regain his composure from the emotional trauma.
