This is the type of mentality that ensures the likes of levy and co can get away with delivering no success on the pitch but conditioned into believing that a good job all round is being done.

Nope you're demonstrating just how sad the world is becoming where nothing is ever good enough, where finishing second simply doesn't count ... that's called being entitled ... if you stick with that mindset all your life unless you are the one in a million that comes first at everything it will never make you happy.

If you can't see that taking us from finishing an average of 9th to an average of 4th is doing a good job then you're one sad puppy ... sure we could do better but having your bitter entitled mentality? no thanks.

Try enjoying the good times ... after all it's the best we've had in nearly 70 years

One fucking team funded by an Arab state won all 3 domestic cups last year! If you only celebrate trophies you might as well only watch football in May.
I find it so funny people who feel entitled to success call everyone else happy clappers, of course we all want trophies but it’s not that easy actually!

Yep same. I couldn’t give a shit about the “Tottenham way “ or doing it right. What has it got us ? Nothing. A few cup finals and CL for a few seasons. We remain trophyless season after season with nothing truly to our name. I want to see the club win stuff and if it means a rich billionaire ploughing money into the club like City, then 100% I would take it. We have achieved nothing under ENIC or Levy in 20 years.
And the thing is Don, what does Doing it the right way actually mean anyway?

Is charging the highest ticket prices in the world the right way?

Is paying your CEO the highest salary in Premier League history the right way?

Is insulting other clubs wth low ball offers while expecting extortionate prices for our own players the right way?

Is trousering 50 million so called dirty notes of blood money in exchange for our best right back the right way.

Is having an owner who made his fortune on the back of the misfortune of millions and avoids paying tax doing it the right way?

A lot of questions most of us like to brush under the carpet when criticising the morality of other clubs while lauding our own

Wearing Nike doesn’t mean you personally pay 9yr olds 1p a week to work in a sweat shop John

So nothing to do with football then JT .... if you're trying to claim that THFC are not one off the best run sporting businesses in the UK, if not the world, over the last twenty years you will find you're in a very tiny minority .... just imagine if you supported West Ham or Everton you'd have topped yourself by now.

I’d like to think there’s a middle ground.

I don’t think wanting your club to have a recognised striker for half a season is ‘Glory hunting’.

Our recruitment has been a shambles. The direct opposite of our infrastructure development. Levy is fantastic at the latter, abysmal at the former.

And that’s not even a ‘spend money’ thing. He’s not even good at what he claims we should be doing I.e recruiting young talent.

It’s a simple example of what you’re trying to preach.
You’re basically saying that selling Walker to City is the same as being owned by human rights violators.
No, im saying if we're happy to take the money off these so called human rights violators in exchange for our assets, it's hypocritical to then laud ourselves as the moral crusaders of English football, as many people do.

Ffs, Sammy, think before you type

That’s why I mentioned Nike and sweatshops because despite not being into forced child labor, millions of people wear Nike.

Like millions of people drive when they don’t need to.....it doesn’t mean they done give a fuck about the environment.
They haven’t got blood on their hands.

If City were stupid enough to pay 50M for Walker, why shouldn’t we take it?
Business is business.
Spurs aren’t the ones beheading people for stealing apples.

I think we're an extremely well run business, my friend. Any business that can turn an annual profit that dwarfs that of its rivals is being run super efficiently, especially when they invest minimal expenditure in the product most of their customers are paying for.
But as a football fan, I don't derive much pleasure in goading the fans of rival clubs about the size of our spreadsheet

Your response backs up everything I said thank you and enjoy your day.

So why criticise? believe you me Woolwich, West Ham and pretty much any club outside the top four would swap their owners for ours in a heartbeat ... goading Woolwich about now being behind us on and off the pitch ... have at it give them hell, when they built the emptycrates they were full of it, what goes around comes around so fill your boots ..... you will find it gives you great pleasure when they squirm.
