Here’s a little conundrum:
If a player scores 50 PL goals in a season, but took 4000 shots, is he good?

Would love a prime JD right now to be fair...If Jermain Defoe would have scored 50 goals in a PL season, I'm sure he would have gotten close to 4000 shots.![]()
His xG/90 is 0.41 for comparison....Shooting more is generally good though. There are xG/shot stats that illuminate quality, or xG/90.
Not in good position to shoot if I had to guess, but if he's more a Firmimo type than I'd be interested in his xA and xG buildup. Whoever is available in January is usually not top end, though, so I'd settle for average. His xG/90 is 0.41 for comparison....
Kane 0.63
Piatek 0.55
Firminho 0.36
Not sure what that shows though as it could mean he isn't missing easy chances but also isn't getting into position to score as often, which makes sense with the type of strikers they all are.
The answer is no.Here’s a little conundrum:
If a player scores 50 PL goals in a season, but took 4000 shots, is he good?
But weird to say the all time PL record holder for goals isn’t very good thoughThe answer is no.
I want the fucking midfield creating all that shit though.
Yes. He'd be amazing because that's over 100 shots a match. No way the other team would have time to setup an attack either. Here’s a little conundrum:
If a player scores 50 PL goals in a season, but took 4000 shots, is he good?
1.25% of your shots being goals is bad.But weird to say the all time PL record holder for goals isn’t very good though
Lolz
Dunno.Well, Piatek was supposed to be cheaper. It doesn't make sense for Sociedad to hold out for such a sum. This report might very well be just bullshit. Didn't they want £21M for him a day ago? Or did they watch us play against Southampton and realised how badly we need a striker so they decided to hike up the price?

Sammy you should be able to work this out yourself. Again, disappointed in you. I wouldn't say that player in your conundrum is 'good' I would say he's 'great' because stats.Shooting more is generally good though. There are xG/shot stats that illuminate quality, or xG/90.
More like 40 000If Jermain Defoe would have scored 50 goals in a PL season, I'm sure he would have gotten close to 4000 shots.![]()
