Total and utter bollocks .... why do you bother?
because the truth matters. levy and THFC ruined the madrid transfer with their absurd financial demands - this is probably the straw that broke the camels back for CE and the reason why he wanted to leave this winter instead of waiting - i am certain you will never hear it from CE - but he feels that the conduct of Levy and THFC was disrespectfull and unfair given all he had done for the club. Getting stick on social media and boohs from THFC supporters probably just confirmed him in his decision to leave THFC af fast as possible.

Well actually Madrid were very interested and an agreement was already on the table - unfortunately some cunt demanded 100 million euro in transfer fees and the momentum dissapared - and then the transfer window closed down - then Madrid got a new french manager who prefers to hire french players (Zizou) - and this closed the door for CE at RM. CE owes THFC absolutely nothing - the idiot running THFC ruined CEs transfer to RM - and in the end had to sell CE for peanuts. Regarding the new signings at the club - none of them are a shure bet - even lo celso - who has performed well in his last couple of matches - has still not proven that he cant maintain a consistant high quality level of play - i hope i does - because if he does not THFC are in for a rude awakening. 18 games left in the premier league this season is a lot of games with an inexperienced midfield consisting of primarily young talents and players who would be warming the subs benches in most other clubs in the premiership....

So Ziidane who has been manager of Real Madrid since 2018 (except about a
year when he walked away and before he was reappointed) vetoed Eriksen going to Real Madrid

So how interested were Real Madrid again ? Clearly they were not interested in making a signing against the advice of their manager.

And no mention of Barcelona ?

So in reality Eriksen might have dreamed of going to one of the two biggest clubs in Spain, but at best there was a small window of opportunity. And that didnt work out.

So he's now gone to a club in Italy, judged by UEFA's 5 year coefficient ratings as being significantly below Inter Milan - and we have met them twice in CL in recent years and finished above them in the group stages of both years that happened.

Eriksen was a Spurs player for a number of yesrs, and was one of our best midfield players for years - but not for the last year or so unfortunately. He could have exited more gracefully by agreeing with Spurs a date a year or two ahead when he would be allowed to go - but in 2018 and 2019 there were no sensible bids other than ManU who Eriksen didn't fancy.

Reality Eriksen grossly over estimated his attractiveness to the leading European clubs - and that is why he's ended up at Inter Milan rather than a bigger club.

Why does this continually get used as a stick to beat him with, when no such thing was true, this is how he responded to being asked about Real Madrid in that now infamous interview:

“I feel that I am at a stage of my career where I would like to try something new,” Eriksen told the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet. “I have the deepest respect for everything that is happening at Tottenham and it would not be something negative to stay. But I have also said that I would like to try something new.

“I hope that something will be decided this summer. That is the plan. In football you never know when there could be a decision like that. It could be at any point. The best thing is always for it to happen quickly but in football things take time.”

Eriksen has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid, who are looking to add marquee signings this summer for Zinedine Zidane after a desperately disappointing season.

Real Madrid is a step up but then it would take Real Madrid picking up the phone and making contact with Tottenham and say that they want Christian,” Eriksen said. “And that they haven’t done as far as I know.

He was happy to move last summer, not run his contract down. And was under no illusions that he was sure to end up at somewhere like Real Madrid. He just said last summer that he still loves it at Spurs, we tick all the boxes so it would have to be a step up.

Maybe some aren't seeing Inter as the step up they perceived he meant, but a lot has changed in the last 6 moths. Inter are challenging for a title, are spending money, will almost certainly be CL for the ext few years. We have gone in the opposite direction and look fucking miles from CL let alone a title.

As I said UTTER BOLLOCKS .... produce one shred of evidence not just run your mouth ....

Eriksen rejected an improved contract in 2015/2016/2017/2018 ... guess that's all on Levy right? You are one sad fuck, Eriksen himself said "Real Madrid is a step up but then it would take Real Madrid picking up the phone and making contact with Tottenham and that they haven’t done as far as I know"

But dorkdanny on TFC knows better .... lol

Inter Milan is on the way up while THFC is moving fast in the opposite direction - as you may or may not know - CE was playing for THFC the 3-4 years where THFC where better than Inter Milan. Historically there is of-course no contest - Inter Milan is far superior to THFC in terms of results.
Inter milan is clearly a step up from THFC (however not as big a step as RM)- i would agree that the seria A is weaker than the premiership (currently) but the top teams in seria a (as the top teams in la primera division) are on par with the top teams in the premiership ( currently city and liverpool - previously it has been Woolwich, man u and chelsea) - the last couple of seasons THFC have been a member of this elite group of football clubs - partly due to CEs contribution. CE did not "grossly over estimated his attractiveness to the leading European clubs" - and had i opted to run out his contract it would not have been a surprice is RM ore barcelona had picked him up on a free transfer - however CE wanted to leave THFC as fast as possible - and Inter needed him in the effort to win the scudetto - and when taking into consideration the filthy and disrespectfull treatment he was given by Levy, the board and even some supposed THFC fans - leaving now must have seemed like an offer he could not refuse. In my personal opinion, trying to win the scudetto with inter and potentially the champions league seems to be a biger and more tempting prospect than joining RM with an unpredictable and moody manager with a toxic relation the the club president - he could very easily end up in a Bale-like situation - and i dont think that would be satisfactory for CE.

But whatever happens - i hope THFC will do well without CE - but i am afraid that Mourinho is not the man for the job....

"Lawyers for the then Tottenham player met with representatives of Real Madrid on two occasions, and an agreement was close, and that was before the Dane's desire to play for Los Blancos was known.

What became apparent though, was Daniel Levy's refusal to sit down and thrash out Eriksen's departure in summer of 2018. At that time he was asking for exorbitant amounts, and then even last summer wanted 100 million euros for the player.

For those at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, they didn't want to open dealings with an English chairman who his known for his tough stance in transfer negotiations. Instead they opted to wait for a better time."

Yup, they were so hot on Eriksen that they let him join Inter Milan for £80m less than they were being quoted 5 months later. Doesn't quite add up does it?

Anyway, I wish you and Christian all the best in the Europa League for the rest of the campaign. (All jokes aside I actually really do hope he does well, for large parts he was a class act in Lilywhite but he did down tools for the latter stages anyone with half an idea about football sees that to be the case)

Didn’t stop them negotiating with Levy over Modric or Bale...& if they wanted Eriksen, they’d have simply outbid Inter... there’s no shame in facing facts that RM did not feel strongly enough about your Golden boy to make the deal happen and according to the man himself never actually made contact with Spurs about a transfer...

Not reading all of this bc I know it’s a bunch of shitty word vomit. But nobody wanted Eriksen. Eriksen wanted other people. And he hasn’t been good since 2017. He’s been a passenger for nearly three years now. Good riddance.

More UTTER BULLSHIT .... feck that hole is getting deep ......

You even misunderstand the quote - Eriiksen's agent (not lawyers) met with Real Madrid but Real Madrid did not want to talk to Spurs, as you've been told at least five times "No offers were ever received by Spurs" you are one thick skinned individual. Spurs say no offers received, RM say no offers made, even Eriksen says no offers ... but dorkydanny still knows better? seriously?

and quoting some second rate Spanish journalist from a poorly translated click-bait article in Marca, why not quote the Sun or the Mirror just as reliable ... lol
