I don't mind because I don't think he's that good. We've seen what desperation can do before.
Based on what we've been seeing available (that we know of), loan with option to purchase seems a better course of action, or bringing in a veteran on an 18 month contract.
Again, I think we need a DM over a striker, but if we get neither this window that's an issue in my view.

I guess it's pretty much going to have to be Giroud, which honestly doesn't excite me at all but he's at least experienced and knows the Prem.
The fact that we signed Bergwijn for a similar amount, yet we were thinking of loaning Piatek or maybe buying him for a lower sum, clearly means we didn't rate him highly enough.
I honestly hope not. Just too weird.
