Only need to hit one, though, that's how these things work. You identify multiple targets, assign value, preference, etc..

Mourinho doesn't stomp into Levy's office and yell "Get me that guy!" while gesticulating wildly. The club has likely been tracking strikers for a while now, especially after Mourinho came on in November and almost immediately began talking about striker options to the press. They aren't pursuing anyone that Mou hasn't signed off on.

We'll find out soon enough either way.

No Thanks, Moreles is a nut case and isn't very good actually misses as much as he scores, 12 games against Celtic no goals and Celtic are the only reasonable opposition they face. Edouard at Celtic on the other hand would be a much better signing very talented and would probably get him for around 25m
 
We will be throwing this season into a dustbin if we don’t find at least a half decent striker in the next couple of days
 
What I said earlier about WJ being on the bench for Real Sociedad tonight was wrong. He isn't.

And we know for a fact Jose wanted him. He’s never off the telly speaking about the guy. News straight out of the horses mouth, not just Twitter bullshit about Facetime calls. JT is inner circle. He knows.
 
So I've put aside DM concerns as I can't see that happening. We'd need a great one and they aren't going to leave mid-season for Levy-money. And, realistically it's going to go up £5m a day for the next 3 days, which is like garlic to Levy.

RB, equally unlikely to happen as we're probably all-in for Aarons in June.

So, CF/ST is the only really outstanding position that you'd think HAD to be filled. KP has gone. What are the realistic possibilities right now?

Note: It's possible, in my mind at least, that Jose will play the way Barca did with neymar, suarez and messi. No out-and-out striker, but lots of goal-scorers making dangerous runs. That would be pretty sexy, but could we cut it on a rainy night in [mid-to-low table team's city]
