Christ City fans are nonce muppets. Whining, bitter little cunts, most of which never supported or even heard of City until the arab oil money came pouring in.

Hope the 2 year ban sticks and they relegated to the bottom of the english leagues, the cunting cheating cunters.

Sign up to UEFA’s rules in order to play in UEFA’s competition. Break the rules in order to be competitive in the competition. Lie about it. Get found out and be punished under the laws they signed up to and then have the cheek to claim the rules are unfair.

Were they unfair on the club when they were “winning”? if they were unfair why did they signup in the first place ?

And now billy big bollocks with loads of cash wants to close down UEFA so they can keep playing in UEFA’s game.

It’s a dizzying situation of black comedy.

But it’s all “Sports Washing” and frankly anyone who every praised City or bought into the whole sorry story deserves to have a degree of responsibility for what they have been found guilty of.

I think, ourselves are probably quite badly affected by the decade of change this dodgy mob have been behind.

Spain have moved to a more equitable spit of tv money (since 2015) - not there yet but getting there, as they realised that the strength of the league was important Barcelona and Real Madrid claim lion’s share of La Liga TV money

100% the rules are in place to try and protect the old guard... but City signed up to the rules, said they were abiding while all the time were cooking the books. It doesnt matter if they are wrong or right on the larger issue they knew the rules and were breaking them.

I didn't know that about the new more equitable split, its good to learn new things

FFP came from the right intention. To shut down the likes of Chelsea or other such despot (tinpot) clubs being used as shields of protection for very dodgy people or to wash the cash of disgusting regimes. The version of FFP we see today is on one hand good but sadly on the other hand bad as it is still vulnerable to the attraction of money, which is why it has allowed City / PSG etc to take the piss. They never needed to do that. Why not organically grow and comply with FFP ? The reason is simple when you consider the rush made to “invest”. The sooner the cash was washed the quicker the shiny trophies would blind people. Errr. Wrong. Gotcha.

Right now the whole of football should be applauding and supporting UEFA for actually implementing the rules they put in place. Of course at the same time UEFA need to look at themselves for ever allowing this to happen in the first place, they should have shut it down sooner, not hope no one noticed.

Dangerous game to play - you have to be 100% certain you have never done anything wrong
Yeah, if that's one thing Levy does, apart from being a tight bastard, is that he always plays by the books. Also, for the people saying that Levy wouldn't waste his time... It's Levy. :levylol:

The cunt would waste 10 hours watching paint dry if it meant that he would get some increased revenue for it.

Guardiola saying - with a straight face it seems - he will stay at City even if they are demoted to League Two...
You can just picture him taking a City team full of kids, journeymen, highly paid mercenaries and the current players who chose to stick it out to places like Exeter and Bradford with derbies against Salford City 😳🤔

Issue is always if you sell your soul to devil you become complicit.

take Chelsea, saved by a blood soaked Russian gangster who used the club to whitewash himself. They have no choice but to defend him because to not defend him and the billions he poured in would invalidate every trophy they have won.

City are the same, the guy who owns the club may also own slaves but they need to defend him at every turn. The whole of football knows whatever Chelsea or City win has an asterix next to it the same as an athlete that took drugs.

This is why it’s important if/when we get sold it’s not to some despotic regime. It makes us their whitewash.

The stated reason for FFP was to stop clubs going bust not to stop the washing of cash from disgusting regimes. At the same time they were introducing FFP the head of UEFA was Michel Platini arrested in Qatar World Cup investigation It was driven by the top clubs not wanting new money buying elite status, not an altruistic stand against Arab states. They applied this to the likes of PSG & City who's owners were willing to put their own money in (the clubs are not at risk of going bust) by saying its an arms race and if they spend others will need to follow them.

Regardless of this you can support the fact it makes it harder for clubs buying championships.

on a consumer level, it's a bit like complaining about unfair charges or throttling from the local cable company - you can argue broadband is a critical utility for your lifestyle while the DSL or 4g options aren't viable, so you can't really take your business elsewhere. And you have to prove that the small print you agreed to was unreasonable.

League champs by proxy:

United x 2
Liverpool x 2

The year we smash it.... Chavs won it.

:llorishuh:

(...Mind you, how bittersweet would that be? ....First league title for 56 year and we don't get to celebrate it.)

Sorry, I'm an idiot, what does this all mean? Good or bad news for the appeal?
Bad news for them. If it's Abu Dhabi that is behind their sponsorships, it means that their fraudulence is connected directly to their owners, and you don't even have to investigate if the third parties are related to the club (like Etihad). Would most likely be the end of Abu Dhabi's involvement in football if true, because it might result in a direct ban to Mansour etc.

Watched Monday Night Football and listened to Carragher and Neville saying that FFP is stifling competition....is City winning every domestic competition because of unlimited amounts of cash not doing that already?

Pair of idiots. So the solution in their opinion is for gangsters and slave owners to pump dodgy money in and inflate wages and the transfer market.

This is Gary Neville the man who ho takes a swipe at racism even if there is no evidence but is ok with slavery and bloody money.

FFP isn’t perfect, football really should have a wages and transfer cap to stop excess dodgy money pour in but allowing the scum of the Earth to own football clubs and whitewash their reputation is unacceptable.

Tried to make the case that City could never overcome the revenue gap between them and Man Utd without owner investment but failed to mention we've overtaken both Woolwich and Chelsea in revenues with having money pumped in by a sugar daddy.
