So who would you have managing us, bus-conductor bus-conductor ?
I'm genuinely interested.

I assume you see us as a big club.
A club that should be at least challenging for major titles and not some glorified southampton-esque development academy that people like Totti Totti see us.

So if neither Poch or Jose is the man. Who should Levy be appointing?
Who is actually available?

Chelsea and City have gained a winning mentality by artificially pumping money into the clubs.

City are to banned for breaking FFP.
Chelsea would have been banned if FFP were in place at the time and currently owe Abramovich £1.75 billion.

That's the only reason they've become "big", so let's not kid ourselves.
What's the difference between artificially pumping money and genuinely pumping money?

I think we could easily replace Dele & Son for cheaper than we could sell them, no? Do you think Son is worth less then the 52m realise clause for Werner ? He would have been an upgrade on Son and provided back up for Kane.

I think we could have sold Ali and Son, brought in Werner, Stengs, Eze and still maybe had some change to buy Tsimikis or Wijndal or Ball-Toure.
Son is better than Werner. Don’t be fooled by Werner doing well in a German league. Son is already doing it in the Premier League.

All those players you’re naming would take time to settle in a new league, and would all be a gamble, like every transfer is.

We don’t need to replace Son and Dele now. We need a RB, DM and back up ST as priority.

City & Chelsea bought a place at the top table with dubiously sourced finance and have both since been charged with breaking various fairplay rules, skewed the sense of competition in the league and played a major role in fucking up the economics of the game.

That's nothing to do with ENIC or Spurs lack of ambition.... Yet take those two 'Frankenstein' clubs out of the equation and our last 15 years looks extremely different.
I agree with your post but it's probably worth remembering that we were being beaten by the likes of Brighton and a host of other teams below their level. So even with the 2 clubs you mentioned, gone, how would this affect our rotten results for this season. We've even been embarrassed by a Div 1/2? team. I can't see what any other club has done to bring about these results.

Yep, I agree with this. Also Werner is pretty much the main focus of their attack.. so although he has an amazing record no matter where he plays. he still is their focal point. With Son, look at his record when Kane doesn't play, and you can see he steps up in terms of goal scoring output. I reckon if he was our main focus, then he would outscore Werner.. however this is all theory and no real way to prove this.

But realistically Son is not a player we should consider replacing when has had the highest total output of goals+assists over the last 2 seasons... Dele is a different matter though. Either way our main focus should be on our defense and our central/defensive midfield for now.

I think Werner is a real talent and perhaps has a higher ceiling than sonny eventually.
I think we all love son in fact he is my grandsons favourite player, but I find him a bit hit and mess his finishing sometimes is wayward.

His remit is to do what benefits the club financially first and foremost would you agree?

The football club or the owners? ...Which one are you actually wishing to suggest?

Despite the 2 straight forward comments of yours I replied to, I can feel the goalposts starting to move.....

Cashing in on a player for no progressive reason would be short-termism that wouldn't benefit the club on or off the pitch beyond the immediate term if one sought to take the money out of the club. Can you suggest a time when we've done that? .....Further to that point, to my reckoning there's been no case where a prize player of ours was sold for any other reason than them wanting to leave.... Can you name anyone where we've proactively cashed-in?
