I know we did. And that can happen, doesn’t change the fact that United’s luck in their draws was incredible.

I don’t need to grow up. Marcus Rashford is one of the most overrated players in world football and if he wasn’t English he’d be a 15/20 million player. The idea that Mourinho improved him in any dramatic fashion is just as laughable.

Yes, Tom. If you think McTominay is bad, I dread to think what you would make of this fella. He is not a DM. He is a CM; and a poor one. He is carrying too much timber. He is clumsy, and lacks agility and pace. And he has lousy stamina. He doesn't read the game well, and often goes off to press without considering the yawning gaps he leaves behind. And with the ball, he is a car crash.
 
Can I just put this out here. Fraser, Hojbjerg. Just some of the names linked strongly.

Chelsea - Werner, Havertz and Ziyech.

Utterly depressing. People wonder why some of us are fed up ? Chelsea consistently buying quality and winning stuff. Us buying the scraps and winning nothing.

I’ll be honest Five, I haven’t paid much attention to how the guy plays all that much. From the brief times I have seen him, Winks is possibly the best comparison I can think of in terms of what kind of midfielder is he, which is certainly not what we need.

Poor old Winks has half an idea how to play football, Tom. This guy is a total clodhopper, and knowing that you are particularly appreciative of the magnificent dimensions of Sissoko's je ne sais quoi, I can safely say I know how you would rate this guy.

He can’t be that bad surely? I find it hard to believe Pep Guardiola would once earnmark a player with Sissoko’s footballing ability as the new Busquets :kanehand:

Chelsea's front 3 this season: Pulisic - Abraham - Willian
Our front 3: Son - Kane - Lucas/Bergwijn

You're one of the most miserable lads I've ever seen on this forum. Chelsea needed first team quality, we need mostly depth when it comes to strikers and a CDM/RB. Also, Chelsea sold Hazard and bought Kovacic last summer, while we spent £170M.

Yep and I can bet you you’re whole months wages, Chelsea will win a trophy before we do. Absolute guaranteed. That front 3 won’t be Chelsea’s front 3 though because they are pretty much on the verge of signing Werner, so add him to that list. Not to mention Ziyech who you conveniently failed to mention.

I said this season, not next season. I even gave you an argument about why they signed Werner and Ziyech, and you still decided to ignore it.
