Mourinho beats West Ham and takes one point from fifth place For the first goal center forward of 2020

Last night's game got me thinking - someone like Antonio would actually be great cover for Kane imo. A big lump that everything sticks too - that can't be THAT hard to find in a world with 7 billion people.

I seem to have been watching something different to a lot of others

Where is people's perspective gone? We hadn't won a match for ages, were unlucky against united really and finally got the win.

We played solid defensively for a second game in a row, did u guys forget what we was like before coronavirus??

Midfield, everyone crying about Tanguy. Get over it when he starts performing and showing the right attitude he will be played.. 2 top managers now aren't playing him and it's not all down to him performance. It shows a terrible attitude guys, came in unfit, regular injuries.

Everyone moaning about side to side passing are clueless man. West ham sat behind the ball as we dominated possession. You can't just have a defence cutting ball every second, so they probe from side to side until the opening appears

Calm possession on the ball we absolutely dominated that match yday but people are still moaning.

Totally agree, its as if people aren't paying attention to any of the other matches since the re-start.
The pace has been slow across the board, its been a struggle for everyone and most of the games have been a dire watch.
Plus as you say they tried to park the bus.
I thought we were solid and it was a comfortable win really.

The only 3 matches that weren't boring were the two matches where a player was sent off and Burnley bending over for City.

Every other game has looked like a bad pre-season friendly, which they are essentially. That's why the football is so shit. The players are in worse condition than they have ever been (no club has ever gone 3 months without a training session) and they are playing in the full summer heat yet they are expected to compete for league points. I watched Leicester against Brighton and it was impossible to tell which team was in 3rd place.

The PL need to be pretty careful as all in all this season has been terrible to watch

how hilarious 60 k fishing bowl in the championship. milwall vs west ham. I'm really happy we didn't get that stadium in the end. it's souless and you would need binoculars every match

I'd have hated any move away from Tottenham but the plan was never to play in that shit-dome.... We'd have knocked it down.

That has to be one of the poorest West Ham sides ive seen in a while, and man for man they arent crap players as such, theres just no drive and no apparent game plan without Haller up top to knock balls high to. The new Stoke, basically. Antonio is always a problem for us but playing him centrally just made life really easy for Dave and Dier who lapped it up all game. TBH id take Fredericks back as cover for Aurier as he lived with Son pretty easily and I dont remember him ever being shit when having to play first team on the odd occasion.

I dont see a lot of negatives from a Spurs POV tonight other than Dele slowing the game down. He's an excellent technical footballer but (shhhh) im not sure he works in this system Jose wants to play, even though hes playing him there in the number 10 role. We played our best stuff tonight on the break or crossing from wide. Dele takes so much time on the ball at the moment it kills that pace. A lot has been said about N'Dombele and whether hes liked by Jose or not... id LOVE to see him in that role. Make the two of them fight for it. Tanguy isnt the Dembele replacement (because there isnt one in world football - unless someone can name someone who can do that?) so push him forward where he can damage teams with his ability to see a slide rule pass when its on. Isnt that what competition is there for? Two great players with different strengths playing for that shirt.

Also shout out for Sissoko who seems to have got short shrift on here tonight but I thought he was mobile, aware and did a lot of dirty boring shit that other players wouldnt fancy
Good Post.

From sKUMB.

The VAR decision to allow a blatant hand ball for their first was pivotal though.

Blatant: Completely lacking in subtlety; done very obviously, openly or unashamedly.

Speak about grasping at straws. Clearly the millimetre arm brush caused such dramatic ball deviation that the defender had no option but to flick it into his own net. This gross injustice was compounded by the fact that Spam were dominate throughout, creating chance after chance, with a victory seemingly inevitable.

Someone give these pathetic clowns a dictionary.

None of them has ever walked past Greggs without going in for a pie.

I've had some great fun this morning.. I was invited by a Spurs fan to join his work Whatsapp group, which consists of 14 people, 6 of which are West Ham fans.

Someone on KUMB mentioned we are easy to wind up... Oh the absolute irony... I have never seen so many easy bites. I have been relentless and the replies are priceless.

The funny thing is, I aint even started..:kaneear:
