Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

The last few games it seems like our movements and passes in the final third have been incredibly slow. Excessively deliberate. It gives the other team time to react. It can’t be that Jose is asking them to be slow. Perhaps the lads aren’t accustomed to the tactics and are doing a little too much thinking?

As disappointed as I am in the defense, they were very good in the first two games. We were unlucky not to win both matches and not have two clean sheets. I would back them again next game to show them confidence.

The bigger issue I think is mentality when facing adversity. The disallowed goal was so unfair. The elbow on Son CLEARLY deserved a yellow. The lads had trouble overcoming those bad / missed calls. A mentally strong team isn’t phased.
This is the exact same shit as what happened with Poch for the past year.

Maybe they just aren't good/creative enough to break down deep lying teams.

Remember when Poch said "painful rebuild"? Turns out he wasn't full of shit.
Mostly painful to our owner's wallets. That's why it's never going to happen. The loyal supporters amongst us will just have to accept that we will be a mid table team for the foreseeable future. This must be clear now to even the most stubborn of management supporters. All the other contending teams are still planning on buying fine players despite C 19. Our management is going to use it as an excuse not to buy. So brace yourselves fellow fans for the upcoming season and pray for a top 6 finish.

American football is boring as fuck. Nothing but commercials and advertisements. Barely any real game left in it.
It's not really a sport at all. A bunch of muscle bound, steroid hyped idiots bashing each other to bits for 5 seconds followed by 15 minutes of advertising, completely idiotic pundits full of themselves and totally irrelevant boring stats and this goes on for 3 to 4 unbearable hours. I watched a documentary about the Dallas Cowboys and found it shocking to see the way they run it. I've never heard such a consistent use of foul language, both from management and players. It was really quite an eye opener. Plus if I have my facts correct, a number of players have been implicated in quite serious crimes over the years including murder. I hate the thought of these Neanderthals running all over our new stadium. Ugh !!! And they use padding and helmets unlike rugby players. It's supposed to prevent brain damage but most of them don't use their brains, how's anyone able to tell if it has been damaged? Only in the USA.

So let me get this straight Spurs are going to cite C19 as an excuse not to spend, yet you'd be blatantly be making the same declaration of no faith regardless of there being a virus or not.

Meanwhile.... It's funny cos so far we've heard that Arse are skint; Liverpool aren't in a position to do anything notable, not a peep from Wolves & Leicesters, so essentially what you're saying is that the 2 Mancs and Chavski will splash the cash as always....

Can you underline for me; where exactly is the news flash in your post?

I read the same shit last summer just before we spent £125m whilst the Dippers proceeded to spend nish and the Goons went full banter in the market. (Perhaps, I shouldn't mention the Everton, West Ham & Fulham fear some had in recent windows through rearing up old embarrassments... Ooops; I just did!)

Jeeezus, Spanner; don't you get tired of rehashing the same whingeing post every single day?

I mean, look at the self indulgence in your wording...

- Everyone one else will be buying "fine" players (what sanctimonious wankery!)...
- Alluding to "management supporters" (Spurs supporters please, fella; unless you're cool to start referring to yourself as a "moneyball fan"?) ...
- The "loyal supporters" amongst us (who, pray tell, aren't "loyal" by your assessment... Maybe you would care to lay out what your loyalty amounts to Mr '"Just started supporting Spurs again".... )

(Yeh, that's a rant, sue me ;but first ask yourself how well your recycled pap would fair if you subjected your drinking pals to the same shit day after day down your local....)

I wouldn't call Baldock, Basham and Egan 2nd choice.
You're right but Jack Robinson is. They only really missed O'Connell in defence but Fleck and Lundstram are honestly their two best midfielders and they were both out. Egan's been their best defender this year imo though.

Highllighted part is particularly laughable, but jeeezus man, did you read that post back to yourself before posting?

"I watched a documentary...." - Clear the sum total of your insight on this topic.

Bottom half premier league teams where they belong. What’s equally concerning is the shite we are being linked with to improve the squad.

Next season will be like this one, treading water. The won’t sack Mourinho till this time next year at the earliest.
If Mourinho has any footballing integrity, he'll tell Levy to invest or he quits. Its that simple for him. He's not exactly short of a few quid to live on!

Mourinho, integrity, in the same sentence. Never thought I'd see that.

Seriously though, he would have known our transfer budget/policy when he signed.
That was the time to make demands.

On saying that I think he seriously underestimated two things.
1) How poor some of the players are.
And
2) The lack of commitment of some of the players.

His after match comments were spot on regarding attitude and the future.
Maybe he shouldn't be saying it publicly but he is right.

Here I am in shutdown in Leicester, my football team lose 3-1 to a championship team, we are knocked out of one cup by Colchester and the other one by Norwich.
I can't go out, I'm putting on weight and I am depressed by my team's performance.
See now next season looks rosy compared to now. For instance we won't be embarrassed in the Champions League, we won't have to worry about Kanes ankles
As he will be at Utd or Pool. No Sunday games as we haven't qualified for EL.
We can languish near West Ham and enjoy it when we avoid relegation.
We will still have the best stadium in the UK.
And if we get relegated, we won't have to use VAR !!!!!
