"The Club can also confirm the departures of Development Squad players Rayan Clarke, Jonathan Dinzeyi, Tariq Hinds, Phoenix Patterson, Maxwell Statham and Maximus Tainio following the conclusion of their contracts. We wish them all the best in the next stage of their careers."

All the best to the players :adesalute:

Phoenix Patterson, Maxwell Statham and Maximus Tainio - that would have been an X-Men-esque team sheet :mourglasses:

Bit surprised about Hinds, thought he looked pretty decent on the odd occasion I saw him. Not like the world is awash with decent RB's at the moment either.

Strangely never heard of him training with first team either, decent RB and able to play as LB too.

I did hear that Jubril Okedina (CB/RB) who has played a bit as RB this season for u23's had trained with first team post lockdown - a year ago I'd have suggested he would miss out on a pro contract.

Personally I'd have tried to persuade Hinds to stay, but given KWP's situation I suspect Hinds decided it was a better option to decline a pro contract (I'm sure he would have been offered it).

Best option at RB is 17 year old Dermi Lusala who has had a very very good first year playing RB for u18's, probably one of the best 2 or 3 players in his year group. Suspect JM wull look at him in 6 - 12 months as he did with Cirkin

Here's a list of the remaining U23s:

There's about 30 of them in total, suspect you have missed out most of this season's 2nd year academy ?

Just to make your job harder, they've still got the u23's that wre announced as not being retained a couple of weeks ago and announced today had left !
LOL.
Hinds has been removed so he seems to have pissed off Levy. Transfer markt says he has been without a club since 1 July
As others have said he seemed decent to me.

Josh Onomah scores a worldie for Fulham in the EFL play offs.
And to think we've had to put up with Sissoko for all these seasons when we could have been watching a player of similar size and strength who can actually control the ball and beat a man.

As I understand it all the players who appear on the Retained List (link above) must have a contract going beyond 30 June 2020, so contract information on those players marked as 2020 cannot be correct.

In addition PL agreed to have a contract extension to the end of 19/20 season due to covid 'Contract Extension' on the Retained List, but this does not appear to apply to any of the Spurs players.

Consequently I can only assume all the players have a contract to take them at least through to the next transfer window (January 2021) as this is the first date upon which they could be registered at another club. Of course those which you have a contract date of 2020 might have signed a new contract to 30 June 2021, or even longer (but longer ones tend to be announced by club so this seems less likely).

My guess is that there is an informal agreement that a number of those players (maybe 6 - 10) will be helped to find a lower league club as soon as practical as and when lower leagues open up again - of course that may not be so easy as I understand a lot of lower league clubs will have limited cash to take on new players. And in which case many of them will be with us until 30 June 2021.

I've not seen any comment on the contract that Kion Etete has, I'd be surprised if he didnt have a 2+ years contract on signing for Spurs last June.

These are strange times. I imagine there will be further departures before the end of this window.

Randomly got sent this, worth a watch. Sandah is in our U16s next season:

There's also one on Mathurin who is a first year scholar for next season:

Thanks for posting - do you think Hakeem Sandah's video has been speeded up to look more impressive, I'm always suspicious about videos !

Seems to be a good player though, played as a CM I think in the Pape Cup in January, although think he's also played as a winger ?

We are also pleased to confirm the signing of young midfielder Alfie Devine from Wigan Athletic. The 15-year-old, who featured for Wigan Under-18s in their FA Youth Cup run last season, including a substitute appearance against us in the fourth round, has joined our Academy set-up as a first-year Under-18s player.
