Hated the sight of him as a player. Hate it when these wankers get high profile managerial gigs. You're hoping you've seen the last of them. But no. Here's another 20 years of looking at a face you hate.

I am undecided about his ability as a coach/manager, but one thing that really gets on my nerves about him is his arrogance in his technical area and in his dealings with the media. It's great for him that he won a lot of medals as a player, is Chelsea's record goalscorer and has an IQ of 150. But until he has actually done something as a manager, a bit of fucking humility from him wouldn't go astray. Do Chelsea really have worse midfielders and defenders than us? I mean, really? Has anyone ever heard him take the blame for anything, or does he just throw his players under the bus all the time in that same kind of tough-talking style we knew and loved from Tim Sherwood?
 
Dest is too short for Mourinho. Same reason why we aren't going after Aarons and why all of the links we've been hearing about the past couple months are basically 6 feet or taller.

Fun fact: Gedson and Tanganga are both 6′ 0″.

After Chelsea got massacred at home by Bayern, he said the result reflected the differences in quality between the sides. I mean, of course Chelsea are shit compared to Bayern, but you have to instill confidence in your players. Totally dodged responsibility.

He does seem to have a chip on his shoulder as a manager, something is bothering him and that's strange because he is a novice and you would expect that behaviour from someone who has been managing for years

Ziyech £36m, Werner £48m, Chilwell £50m and Havertz £80m = £214million, minus the £167m = £47million.

Net spend of £47m and they’ve added 4 quality players

Add Pulisic for £54m and Kovacic for £40m to that it of incomings, so thats £141m net spend.
 
Chelsea may not win the title this season, but all those signings aren't going to be flops. They'll be really good again at some point in the next 2-3 years. Werner, Ziyech, and Chillwell aren't exactly Chadli, Chiriches, and Capoue lol.

That's the type of thing I am talking about. From a guy who walked into a massive job without achieving anything as a manager.

I am not sure he has any charisma at all. He comes across like a spoilt brat.

We can't compete with Chelsea's spending power, now that financial fair play has been show to be a total sham with the Man City ruling there is nothing to stop them.

Maybe, once our stadium is paid off we can bridge the gap. But ENIC is never going to pour the billions in to compete with the likes of Chelsea.

We need to be doing shrewd business like Hoijberg, looking at players who are running down contracts.
There are good buys to be had.

The Concern for all of us here is we all know we need at least two fullbacks and a backup striker and time is running out.

Depends on how we start next season probably
if we can get decent results and look to be challenging for top 4 by xmas, nobody will want to leave.....I hope.
