He will be fine playing for us against Bulgarian, Slovenian, Romanian and Irish clubs in the Europa League and League 1 and Championship teams in the Caraboa Cup and FA Cup early rounds. That is all he would ever really be used for.

If the 5m price is true I would rather him upfront than using Kane or Son there or forcing a winger into that role like Bergwijn or Moura.

If he can win easy headers against a backline, and provide something legit for Lloris and our backline to aim at when pinging long balls forward, then he's a target man in my book. This seems a bit pedantic of an argument to me, so I guess let's just agree to disagree.

I’ve seen him play for RM a few times in the last year. His skill and fitness are there. He is still a top player. Zidane didn’t give him any minutes in favor of players that to me are inferior. Same thing happened to James.
