Well I can't be fuming because it's a football transfer; but dele, albeit out of form, has more talent in his pinky than those 4 combined.

Madrid gets something that can actually help them in addition to money for Bale, which is a coup for them, and on cheap wages by their standards.
Spurs get Bale, and give Dele a year abroad in a pressure environment to hopefully grow the fuck up.

I tend not to treat transfer funds expended as the same as wages paid in most cases- transfer funds should be thought of as an investment pool and recycle and ideally grow themselves while wages are what you pay to keep the club running. 10m spent on Reguilon is the same as 10m spent on some other player occupying the position.
I can definitely understand it with a manager like Mourinho but it sort of leaves a sour taste in my mouth that its essentially a glorified loan.
I would've said it seems like a 'small club' deal but apparently Madrid did the same with Morata when he was sent to Juve.
But what if Reguilon turns out to be the world's best LB and we get ripped off by the buy back clause in 2 years time??
Doubt it. James didn’t play much at all at RM last season. Let’s be real. James is much better than Dele. If I were Dele, I would assume that I wouldn’t play very much. I am not sure that is an attractive option for him.
