Where have I said I'm annoyed at the deal? I think it's a good deal, I think £15m for us to see if he's still got it is worth paying, in the scheme of things it's not a lot of money. Beyond this absolutely no one knows (other than hopefully himself) if he's still a World Class player. If he's not then he'll go back to Madrid. If he is, then we loan him for the last year of his deal and maybe even get him on free if we wish to keep him. That's a win/win.
