Berg is retiring next summer after the euros so he will be gone after that. And to his credit he is much better than all the younger guys at the defensive work and hold up play.Vlasic and Brekalo, mate I'm excited for new generation.

Quaison or Andersson will take over for him but both are injured right now.
You guys are a step above us in quality but I think we can get a goal if we hit you on the counter.

We did so much of the difficult stuff right in the second half only to fumble the simple stuff.

Italians superior imo. Pushed like crazy till the end for the win, but weren't lethal in attack enough. They managed to cut off Lewa from the game pretty effectively, too.
How was France-Portugal in second half? Did Jota's coming in for Portugal shake things up? R. Sanches? Martial for France?
The second half of the second half was better! Didn't notice Jota come on but Sanches came on first and then a creative triplet of Trincao, Cancelo, and Moutinho some time later. Martial came on for Giroud and Coman for Mbappe. To no real productive end.
I have put this in the Hojbjerg thread but it's worth watching again in here. Incredible rebound assist for (of all people) Eriksen tonight.
