Post update

Woolwich 0-1 Aston Villa
It's a month since Woolwich scored a Premier League goal which wasn't a penalty.
They have lost 1-0 to Manchester City and Leicester and then Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a penalty as they beat Manchester United 1-0.
Nicolas Pepe's effort against Sheffield United on 4 October was their previous last league goal.

But you can see Arteta has a plan :mourlmao:

Considering Jericho's theme is now 'Judas' - it'd be a perfectly good theme for those cunts.
That’s how long since I’ve watched it - break the walls down is a 🐐 theme IMO

The brutal truth is that Villa have better players in the area where normally the game is won and lost - midfield.

Douglas/McGinn/Barkley/Grealish is really high quality.

Woolwich lack real balance going forward but I think Arteta is overthinking it. Saka-Auba-Pepe is surely their best frontline.

Why did Woolwich get rid of Martinez by the way? I thought he done incredibly well when called upon last season following the Leno injury.

Cheers Mark

There has been a bit of swing in the momentum of the game here, Woolwich have lifted their tempo a little bit and Aston Villa are finding it difficult to get out of their own half.
