Not everything came off but he was well involved and much quicker with his passing  Would love Dele to get back to his best (or better yet, to evolve into something even better), maybe he's not naturally tactically suited for our first XI but we will have many, many games this season and there will be plenty of players with a key role to play.

The penny must finally be dropping surely. Seeing the players give everything and being in the position we are in right now has hopefully jolted him into thinking I want to be part of this and we can do something here.I see from him what I wanted to see from him and it looked a bit like old dele last night. Smashed a player on the floor and walked off like he didn't give a fuck. Attitude and commitment was spot on last night and he looked like he wanted it.

Feels like Mourinho already got into his head , watching him played last night he just try to release the ball as fast as possible, one touch pass one touch pass. Maybe he does want to be part of this project

Just watching his performance back in these highlights he was definitely MotM for me (just shading out Ndombele and Vinny) Heavily involved in all three goals, brilliant pressing and dropping nicely into the pocket of space in front of their centre backs turning and linking up the play.

Yes, Ludogorets were at best lower table Championship quality, if that but still a very good performance, couple more of those and he will be back in contention for the first team.

he clearly does, he is involved in all the videos the club puts out like the cricket one the other day, he doesn't seem to be sulking on the margins.

Well, depending on how the game goes, I could see him getting last 15 minutes against Chelsea in weekend.

Our designated cuntery master Lamela is out of this match, so if we need some spark of this kind, we could see him coming on. Actually would be fine either way- to spark some fighting spirit if we are tied or chasing the game... or if we are ahead, bring him on to wind those pathetic c*nts up, and maybe get one or two players sent off so they would suffer beyond our game

Encouraging yesterday, admittedly against very little, but he looked to have done plenty of work on strength and fitness. His playing style is very suited to playing in the 10 role when Ndombele is the 8.

Apparently Hargreaves and Crouchy have accounts round these parts and they didn't limit their over-reaction to the tele for what was, at best, a decent outing versus what would be an average League 1 team giving a conference-level performance. And those 'decent' marks are based more on effort than on quality. It was encouraging, yes, but not the performance that sets a marker to stay and contribute against actual quality footballing outfits in games that matter. He wouldn't be the only nor the highest profile one. But that's another matter for another day.

There were 2 players from yesterday that showed out and one's been doing it all season to any that dare challenge him. For the other it was very encouraging in his first year with us. Dele was neither of these players.

We aren't going to set up in the same way we set up against City every week are we?

Not only is Dele going to be important to the team he's going to chip in with 10+ league goals by the end of this season, wait and see.
He might get the winner against the Dipper Scum
Guaranteed immortality

That makes zero sense ... he just played 90 minutes in a very successful role did you not watch?

The problem for Dele is that his old role - somewhere between a striker and an AM - isn't in the standard Mourinho EPL playbook, Dele needs to adjust to either the Son, Bergwijn, Bale, Lucas, Lamela role of an attacking player who also covers back ... or make himself a clone of Kane, a very creative goalscorer.

The first option means his chances of playing are slim to none, but the second option is possible he has the ability but can he put in the work? He did a pretty good Kane impression tonight because the defensive work wasn't needed, harder tests will come in the EL and that will be his opportunity.

To say "no role left for him in the formation and style we play" ignores the fact that players can change - just look at Kane this season, or Dier from a year ago.
We should be encouraged by his performance and effort last night not trying to knock him
