Seems to me a strange move to have Davies , Doc and Rodon on the bench and Sid the 19th man and Bale not even travelled, maybe he is ill ?

Of course Berg starts but of 9 subs named only Dele makes the bench and even that is a wee bit of a surprise.

Agreed , but I think it is a bit strange to have 3 defenders on the bench in a game that is usually very tight for us , who would you rather bring on @70 minutes if it’s 0-0 , Davies , Doc or Rodon or one of Bale / Sid ? I know some people just aren’t happy but just curious if Bale is ill or it’s a tactical choice .
Vinicius and Bale held over for the trip to Anfield imo.
It seems JM is confident about scoring and is more concerned about holding and keeping the lead?
