Limited doesn't mean useless. How many times do I have to explain that.

He's not a great dribbler, he's not good with his back to goal, he doesn't score many headers, and he doesn't have particularly great vision. Though he can do those things on occasion.

However, he is elite in pace, off the ball movement, finishing and pretty decent at pressing. He's improved his all around game a lot under Mou, but if you have to define Son, it's as a specialist, not an all rouder.
Kane’s not a good dribbler
Kane isn’t fast
Kane isn’t very good with his back to goal
(Defoe was actually better at turning and shooting)
Kane doesn’t score many goals on the run
Kane doesn’t score curlers into the top corner

Is Kane limited?

Good points.
Also just an average finisher statistically.
According to 's logic he'd be "limited."

I mean...which managers wouldn’t want Son...he’s the most clinical finisher with brilliant movements/pace. I can hardly see Levy selling Son if he wants to keep Jose happy.
On that note, if we can trade Son for a player(s), who would you choose?

Joao Felix, but among the actual realistic possible signings? If it's a winger, Sancho or Pedro Neto. There really aren't any wingers out there I'd take over Son, none that are avaiable and ready to step up.

Realistically, 2 above average LW/RW would do for me. If we can somehow find balance in goal distribution and make us less predictable...

I'm not saying you have to love the player, just get behind them if selected.
I don't have a problem with honest, constructive criticism or even getting frustrated at the time with a mistake / bad play.
My issue is with people who have an agenda against an individual, don't give credit when it's due and seem to relish one mistake in an otherwise decent performance, as to prove their point.
You’ve been on here for a long while now. Is it my imagination, or were player threads more positive back in the day?

Now, even after a victory, the first threads bumped on the Spurs forum are Winks being called Wanks, Stevie B being called Fatberg, Doherty being a donkey, Aurier being an idiot, Kane and or Son being greedy, Lamela being a crock, etc.

Seems to happen after every match. Maybe it’s just my imagination that it used to be different. I’m very possibly just being an old man shouting at a cloud. Just seems strange that the first reaction to a victory is to rip into one of our own.

As you said elsewhere, constructive criticism is fine, but there’s a hell of a lot of agenda driven shite going on here.

Definitely has to do with people slowly realizing our potential.
-Kane and Son in superb form
-great start of the season
-Title race being unpredictable
-Hojbjerg and Ndombele

We are now seeing that some of our players just aren’t good enough to get top4 comfortably. I think it’s natural to see flaws in our players but people need to keep it sensible and constructive

It's cos back in the day our expectations were much lower. An amazing night at the San Siro was the stuff of dreams, now we expect to be at level with them. We were happy to reminisce about thumping Real Madrid and even fairly content with going toe to toe with Juve.

But we're running out of patience after all the near misses. We've got our mega stadium, the world famous manager, two of the best strikers in the world, a world cup winning captain, and spending man City money for a few players.

We're so close to greatness that every minor misstep feels like a huge opportunity lost.

I've only been here two years and I think that the overall vibe of the forum has become more negative in that time. I think it's partly because of the toxic culture some of the more active members of the site have with personal agendas and cliques targeting specific posters, but also it's partly down to the huge disappointment in seeing us get so tantalisingly close and then ultimately falling short.
It's raised many posters expectations and therefore it's incredibly frustrating when we drop points or make mistakes as people feel we shouldn't be.

For once I agree with you 😂 haha

I agree with this sentiment. I used to view these communities as a community of our club supporters that are there to enhance my experience of supporting the club.

I find in recent times, these message boards / forums actually for the most part detract from the enjoyment of supporting our club due to the negative and toxic environment that gets created by the few posters who have way more time than others.

I find myself visiting this forum much less frequently and when I do, I try to skim through and just try to pick out things that are positive and try to ignore the negatives as much as I could.
