You are not suggesting we are dependent upon Kane and Son for most of our goals are you ?

Think the stats are that they are responsible for about 75% of our goals and not far less for assists ?

We need Mourhino to let Ndombele and Bergwijn in particular to go forward and do more assisting

Ally Dick still holds the top flight record for us though.

A midfielder from Stirling, Scotland, Ally joined us as an apprentice and was thrown in for his senior debut from the start at just 16 years, 301 days old as we beat Manchester City 2-0 at White Hart Lane in February, 1982, making him the youngest player ever to appear for us at the time.

That record has since been eclipsed, although the now-54-year-old remains the youngest player ever to start a game for us – something he was reminded of when he visited our new stadium last month to catch up with some of his former 1984 UEFA Cup-winning team-mates at a charity gala dinner.

And he still holds the record for being the youngest top flight player for us.

Kane and Son now have the best (all time back to 92/93 when PL started) joint goal contribution figures in PL - and still lots of games to go !

Kane with 24 goals and 16 assists (40 involvements in goals) in 36 matches is surely on the way to being a big statistic that few others can aspire to.

Him and Lewa are so far ahead of every other striker, in my view.

And he has 37 goals and 8 assists in 33 matches.
