If we had a budget of ~£23M net spend, and Levy was genuinely committed to a player clear out, this is the best we could do imo:
I've underestimated the value of some of our sales intentionally, as if we really did ship off so many players, we'd have to pay off part of the wages.

That would be a very very good squad if those all came off. I could more than live with that. Long as we keep our best players as well such as Kane.

I quite like what you've proposed but I think there are a few issues.
Aurier: wasn't there talk about him not wanting to extend his contract? This means it would be the last year to get some value out of him. So we may need to look at a new RB
Dier & Winks: I just can't see which club would pay 20mil for either player. I guess Winks does count as HG so he's got that going for him.
Agree we have to keep our best.
The prices I calculated are realistic, the biggest barrier would be harmony at the club with such a mass exodus, thus Levy may be reluctant.
The only 'out there' option there is Rami Khedira, aged 27 and available on a free from Ausburg. I'd take him as our 3rd choice CDM behind Hojbjerg and Skipp, just so we could get a few million shipping useless Sissoko off.
Great call. Another player that can't create his own time and space with the ball at his feet and is only useful in a 'free' role. Would be a great pickup if we get rid of Dele. That way all the supporters that are still clinging on for Dele to 'come good' with have a new cause to champion when VdB goes missing and folks are wondering why.
Surely we can get around £40M combined for Winks and Dier?
A sorry state of affairs if so, I remember a few years ago we got an offer of £40M+ for Dier alone.

I doubt many clubs will have a much luck selling at all this year. Essentially every non English club is on the verge of bankruptcy

Fair on Dier and Winks. Perhaps 15M each? Valencia apparently interested in Winks, and surely someone will take a chance on Dier for that price.
