Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

From my pov the pursuit of Shearers record is very ‘small time mentality’ and really I don’t think that is Harry, it can’t be top of the list of priorities for him. Would he like to be the all time top goal scorer in the league? Sure.. but it’s not the be all end all.

granted it might be his family that keep him in England as opposed to chasing Shearers silly record.

See you at Wembley next Sunday where hopefully Ndombele has the desire to turn up and help us win the trophy.

This isn’t a dig at you more a general query, has Kane actually expressed an interest in beating Shearers record? This seems to be an accepted fact that Kane is ‘obsessed’ with it but I can’t think of any time he has mentioned it.
He could still be the all-time English scorer at top flight club level if he went abroad.

I'm sure he'd be happy with that, a few trophies, and being the top England International scorer.

Not that he's leaving.

It's nonsense. Kane's been asked about the record before and he's said he would like to break it.

But would he really turn down a move to a European giant for a poxy record? Some people are so naive.
You say that, but, and I've said this before, do people remember Jimmy Greaves for winning the FA Cup, Cup winners Cup and finishing 2nd in the league, or fo they remember him as the highest ever score in top tier football for decades. The highest ever scorer for THFC. The best goals per game ratio for England.
Even Alan Shearer is remember more for being the highest ever scorer in the PL than for winning a title in 1995

There was a poll on a Twitter Spurs page asking "Would you rather Mourinho and Kane stay or Mourinho and Kane leave?". 74% (including me) were for them to stay. I think that Kane really enjoys working under Mourinho, contrary to popular opinion.

1) Would you rather get a kick in the nuts and receive 1 million pound

Or

2) Not get a kick in the nuts and receive nothing.

95% were in favour of option 1.

This probably means that 95% were in favour of getting a kick in the nuts.

Kane will be here next season. There is absolutely no question of this. Even the journalists spreading the rumours acknowledge this! If there's no clear progress by the club the chances of him moving in 2022 dramatically increase. But 2021? No chance.
Yeah not sure why people are panicking this summer as he still has years left on he's contract and can't see anyone offering something stupid like 250M.
Like wrighty said on the TV last week he shouldn't of signed the new contract that keeps him here until 2024

I understand Harry.
It is a shame for us that we have been unable as a club to make a project for one of the top scorers in the history of the Premier to win a single title.
If it were Levy I would sell him (if this is really his wish) even if the buyer was Manchester City

Kane clearly wants to leave, his team have been briefing the media. It was the same with Berbatov, Bale and Modric.

Levy could force him to stay, but if Kane isn't going to sign a new contract, you're left with a depreciating asset. You're also left with an unhappy player, Kane seems professional, but I think he would be upset at being forced to play another season without any prospect of winning the league or CL. The bloke's nearly 30.

I think Haaland will go to Manchester City and Mbappe will go to Real Madrid. Kane's path to PSG would be pretty clear then.
He deserves better than PSG

Yes but the French league is a load of shit. It's almost as bad as the Scottish league.
If he goes its are own fault shit dinosaur of a manager and a chairman who had several chances to back previous managers and failed.
