I suspect that Greaves wouldn’t survive in the Prem in the same way Harry wouldn’t make it in the 60s. If I had to pick one, I think in a world without the obsessive coaching and athletics knowledge and sports sciences, there’s something to be admired about anyone that made it to the top of the pile by hard work, good fortune, good genes and good luck. So, for me, anyone who did all that back before they were identified snd coached from when they first toddled has to be the better player..?
