I’m not yet totally sold on Pedro Gonçalves. From sporting their two big talents for me are Nuno Mendes and porro(who belongs to city)
Why are you not sold on Goncalves? I noted that he didn't make the Portugal senior squad, so clearly you're not the only one with concerns.
But yet statistically his performances seem to be similar to Bruno, and he's top scorer in league despite playing as an attacking midfielder rather than striker.
Yeah, Mendes looks a special player. Thought I saw a tackle in which he appeared to break his leg a few weeks ago, but he's played three full games since then.
Gouiri or Daka?
Daka plays in worse league but has insane goalscoring numbers.
Gouiri a better all round player, technically and creatively. Hard to know with Daka, because with his power, speed and shooting he could really kick on and be an elite goalscorer. I'd note I've not see as much of Daka, probably 5/6 full games and I've done a cramming session on Gouiri recently. They'd both probably be in my top few young attackers to target.
Doesn't have to always be a case of one is right, one is wrong. There's tonnes of really great or potentially great players in the game and we really don't need to be trotting out the likes of Lamela, Lucas, Vinicius next season
He scores a lot of goals from midfield but that’s it. He doesn’t dominate the games like Bruno did.
If Bruno was both scoring goals and dominating games from midfield, why did we not buy him?

We were linked to Jack O Connell before his injury, big fast strong left footed centre back but has been injured a while
We seem to have a good relationship with Stoke selling them Oakley Booth & loaning them Clarke, I hope we are looking at Souttar, Collins & Campbell. Matondo has looked good and is on loan from Schalke who have been relegated
Spence, Olise & Brookes of have been linked before, Cabango & Dael Fry look good as does Nyambe a right back who will have 12 months left in the summer
