Ex-Spurs Player Gareth Bale

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Already fed up of this shit. Is it really necessary for the mail, sun and a number of others to essentially print the SAME story every bloody day. It's like Groundhog Day. Also the articles always begin with what seems like an absolute statement that he's leaving and then several paras down mentions that actually he's probably staying next year.

Either the press WANT the Premier League to be the best in the world (which would mean retaining its' best players) or they don't, and we'll be left with a League full of Stoke City's!

My hunch is that the written media especially pigeon-hole certain clubs and stick to it... Real Madrid will ALWAYS be the glamour forgein club that EVERYONE wants to join, whereas we are an underachieving former Football Giant who can't keep hold of its' best players... No matter how well we happen to be doing at the time!

On the other hand:

If the bid is £85million sell him, I love Bale but that's silly money.

Bottom line... We won't get that offer again next summer due to financial fair play.

I read somewhere that because of this partnership deal Levy got a letter from Real saying that they will not put a bid for Bale this summer.

But because they've had a shit season and Barca signed Neymar they are now under a bit of pressure to appease their fans. So they want Bale to succumb to all their tapping up via the press and put in a transfer request with a preference for Madrid so then they don't need to put an offer in but we are forced to sell for £30M.

More than likely, considering you can now add Scouse stringbean perma cunt McManaman to the list of current or former Madrid players/staff that are taking part in the tapping up.

Figo, Zidane, Ramos, McManaman, Modric, Perez

Yet still Levy says nothing. To be frank I don't give a fuck if Bale wants to go this summer or not anymore I just want Levy to take a stand and speak out. They are taking the piss and I can't help but wonder how much all this public tapping up without a statement of intent from us in return is hurting not only our reputation but potential signings.

To be honest, I would rather the silence than futile denials like we made with Modric, and like Liverpool are making with Suarez.
I do want this sorted out early though, if he is staying, great. If he's leaving lets give the team time to adjust to it.

I'm not talking about denials when it comes to speaking out though. I'm talking "this is pushing the boundaries of an illegal approach."

But it's really just press speculation, if Levy had to respond to every rumour about players coming and going he wouldn't have time for anything.

There's no speculation about direct quotes from all of the names listed stating how Bale SHOULD go to Madrid or how he WILL be a perfect fit. Like I just said to Tucker i'm not talking "not for sale" quotes i'm talking "back the fuck off you are tapping him up, knock it off or we'll take it further" types of quotes

Technically they aren't tapping up, they are just making statements about how good a player he is, they haven't directly approached Bale so neither us or Uefa can do anything.

is anyone else annoyed that these ex players of Madrid are saying "Bale needs to be testing himself against the best" ...joining the 2nd best team in a 2 team league, who have just lost arguably the best coach on the planet...
