That screams lack of due diligence.

Basing managerial/coaching appointments on a meeting is crazy. Jose was apparently a great interview and Levy just ignored the hundred other red flags from his time at United.

It's a terrible look for Levy and the club.
If you think it looks bad now, just wait until Roberto Martinez (who interviews very well) sweet talks his way into the job.

How are multi millionaires still this rich when they can't run a sustainable business? Tottenham is going to be a Harvard MBA case study soon enough.

Is there any evidence that any of these managers who have "turned us down" have actually been spoken to by the club?

Granted, not a good look that Ten Haag has signed a new contract, even though he's probably heard chatter we may be interested. But he maybe had his agent reach out to us and was told we weren't interested?

Nope, but there be beds to be wetted and dummies to be spat goddammit!

Former Bayern Munich manager Hansi Flick is thought to be interested in the Spurs post, despite being linked to the German national team job, but Tottenham, as yet, are not thought to have reciprocated that interest.

Based on the DanKP story, I imagine it's between Potter and Rangnick (both?) with Parker as an emergency option.

Still think all 3 of those are better than Martinez, Southgate, etc...but I also haven't seen why we'd be interested in Parker outside of his connections to the club, which is not a good way to choose a manager.

That and his likely willingness to be a yes man that takes whatever shit Levy offers him up.

Yeah given Nagelsmann and Ten Hag getting ruled out, that seems like an alright list unless there's someone left field that hasn't been mentioned.

For what it's worth, I have to give JJ over on SpursCommunity some credit as an 'ITK', he did actually get the Ten Hag story completely right (and against the grain). All the noises he's made have been that the main managerial target may be someone that we're not talking about.

I'm sorry, how the fuck does Hansi Flick come to Spurs after being angry at not getting enough input at Bayern, and being clearly anointed as the guy getting the Germany job after the Euros?

I don't want to go too far down this rabbit hole with the fake insiders at Spurs Community, but how exactly did he "get this right"? Saying that Ten Hag wouldn't come here is not getting anything right, it is a 50/50 guess that if it goes wrong people forget. It is how these morons pretend that they are "ITK." Because their guesses hit once in a blue moon and that is all they focus on and ignore the countless times they are wrong.
