If you think it looks bad now, just wait until Roberto Martinez (who interviews very well) sweet talks his way into the job. That screams lack of due diligence.
Basing managerial/coaching appointments on a meeting is crazy. Jose was apparently a great interview and Levy just ignored the hundred other red flags from his time at United.
It's a terrible look for Levy and the club.
you speak spanish?
Link?Telegraph reporting that Hansi Flick would be interested in the job.
Nope, but there be beds to be wetted and dummies to be spat goddammit! Is there any evidence that any of these managers who have "turned us down" have actually been spoken to by the club?
Granted, not a good look that Ten Haag has signed a new contract, even though he's probably heard chatter we may be interested. But he maybe had his agent reach out to us and was told we weren't interested?
WHAT? where?Telegraph reporting that Hansi Flick would be interested in the job.
Based on the DanKP story, I imagine it's between Potter and Rangnick (both?) with Parker as an emergency option. If you think it looks bad now, just wait until Roberto Martinez (who interviews very well) sweet talks his way into the job.

If Levy gets Flick then I'll build a shrine to him in my basement.Telegraph reporting that Hansi Flick would be interested in the job.
I would have been on board for Allegri when we fired Poch because I think he's just a better version of Mourinho, especially in 2019.I wonder will Levy be lulled back by the big name of Allegri. seemingly spoke to the goons but demanded too much control....
Sounds ideal for Dan!

Still think all 3 of those are better than Martinez, Southgate, etc...but I also haven't seen why we'd be interested in Parker outside of his connections to the club, which is not a good way to choose a manager.

Yeah given Nagelsmann and Ten Hag getting ruled out, that seems like an alright list unless there's someone left field that hasn't been mentioned.Based on the DanKP story, I imagine it's between Potter and Rangnick (both?) with Parker as an emergency option.

For what it's worth, I have to give JJ over on SpursCommunity some credit as an 'ITK', he did actually get the Ten Hag story completely right (and against the grain). All the noises he's made have been that the main managerial target may be someone that we're not talking about.
