Rodgers would be a good manager, I'm sure of that, but I can't shake the feeling that he'd get top 4 maybe and that'd be that. I really think Leicester have a good structure/recruitment that may be flattering him right now.

Am I going crazy?
I think you're spot on. He'd be good. He's a silly human being, but a quality tactician and his teams play all out for him.

I also agree with the prior post, no way Levy has given up on that.

Absolutely no chance of Conte
Baby Reaction GIF

He is a far better manager than Jose but he is still a short term 1-2 year type manager and unless we are going balls out in the transfer market (which I seriously doubt) it doesn’t fix our underlying issues.

Sad to say but we need a project type manager right now to rebuild our brittle foundations. For me someone like Rangnick would be more suitable for a long term approach.
That's football and the sooner fans get to grips with it the better.
5 years today is the equivalent of Fergie or Wengers 25+ years then.

No you have it right !
But his best players would not get a game at City or United
He builds a good team of above average players

I’m honestly getting bored of the links to Rodgers ( NOT LEAVING LEICESTER) and now Conte too.

Get a grip lol 😂

Whilst they are both good managers they aren’t interested in coming to us and the fact Conte is a argumentative disruptive to the hierarchy (I kind of like that he goes against the grain) he’s just won the Serie A title and if anything he’ll use his fallouts with the board as leverage to get a war chest of funds for new players as he did at Chelsea.
Conte very much like Sarri doesn’t like to coach outside of Italy.

Sign Graham Potter Levy and most of the fans will be happy that you would be bringing real football back to the club.

As unlikely as getting Conte will be. I think he may be a good fit for our squad. Both stylistically and mentally.

He is this weird mix of strict taskmaster and loveable man manager. In all the teams he has coached he is credited with creating a positive dressing room culture whilst also being very strict with things like curfews and diets for his players (including one Inter player "jokingly" stating that he has instructed his players to only have sex in cowgirl position before games to not waste energy).

On paper that sounds like what our players need. Someone that can create a good feeling in the locker room, but at the same time be strict and a clear cut boss to them and motivator.

Real Spursy football ?

Ali Gold thinks we’re gonna go all out for Rodgers or go for someone that isn’t in the media limelight at the moment.

In other words no one has a fucking clue

Ali G tends to be sceptical to all reports that come from distant shores so I would take it with a bit of salt.

He's reliable but mainly because he gets fed info from the club when it suits them. He doesn't seem to have his own sources outside of the club unlike other journalists. He always tends to play down rumours that start in other countries until he gets some form of confirmation from the club that it has legs. Bergwijn being the perfect example.
