“Ajax boss Erik ten Hag was under consideration by Spurs only for Ajax to extend his contract by a year. While that would simply make his appointment more expensive for Tottenham, his comments after the extension was agreed suggested he is not going anywhere this summer.”

So it seems we’ve not held any talks with him and Ajax simply decided to extend his contract when rumours started to intensify? I still have hope he’ll be given the job but the odds are small.

I can't imagine Ten Hag coming here unless Levy gives up control of football decisions and there is no indication that he will do that.

Nah, Poch is responsible as is Jose as is Mason for total shit managerial decisions that cost us, despite what Levy provided them.
As is Sherwood as is AVB as is Redknapp as is Ramos as is Jol as is Santini as is Hoddle as is Man in a raincoat..........

I’m not sure about that mate. Is he having lots of control at Ajax? As far as I know, he’s a good friend of Overmars and that’s about it. However Ajax are not exactly about buying players, more like buying young players and developing them.

I think that he has a good working relationship with the people making the decisions and trusts them to some extent, but I could be wrong.

I am not saying that he needs to be the DOF but I imagine that he would want a better set up than we currently have. Why would he want to leave a club that is running effectively to come to one where the football decisions are made solely on what level of deal you can get for the player and not on his ability, team fit or manager needs?

Alasdair Gold's latest piece tells us nothing. He just churns out the same old stuff to generate ad revenue.

He doesn't know anything.

Or there is nothing to know.

Would it be better if like so many others he made up names to link to the club to get views?

I never get the hate for Gold he is very transparent in what he is and what he does and yet people always seem to find fault for no reason because he isn't giving them the information that they want whether it is true or not.

The Football London website is dogshit, that's my primary Ally Gold complaint.

Something about potter he just seems a timid guy. Will it be another season going to places like anfield, stamford bridge and gooners just rolling over? Not sure a billion pound stadium warrants a risk manager. Need a manager with guts and them being fearful of us. Had that under poch but in an intelligent way.

All these piss poor managers and their piss poor tactics, eh....

Who the fuck keeps appointing these dummies?
They wasn’t all piss poor when we hired them though. Most have taken us steadily forward, that’s why you’ve been moaning about not winning CL and PLs instead of praying for EL spots

Been here so many times, you already blamed Poch for lack of silverware so trying to make it Levys fault when it suits you is just sad
