I think it probably boils down to compensation. To buy out Poch's contract now is probably 15m at a guess, maybe more? Ten Hag probably no more than 7m (again a guess, the figures are probably out there.)
Also think there's an element of saving face for PSG. Not a great look having a manager want out after six months, how does that level of instability fit in with trying to convince Mbappe to sign a new contract?
I think the compensation and the resistance of the club's involved. I very much doubt ETH is on a huge salary at Ajax, 2 mill a year max imo, and if he said to Ajax that he wanted to move on they wouldn't stand in his way. Poch though is on a mega salary so the compensation is going to in the region of 10-15 apparently and it seems PSG don't want to allow him to leave
