Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

God, never thought I would see the day when us Spurs supporters turn on our stay man Harry Kane. How the fuck has it come to this ? What a way to ruin that huge legacy and love that has built up. If he does stay, he needs to seriously grovel and apologise for his behaviour. If he goes, I see nothing but anger and hate from the vast majority of our fan base. What a shame it’s come to this.
I’m feeling as bitter towards Kane as I did towards Judas when I found out what he was doing

Total disrespect to his club and us fans

Its so much more than this for me, he went on world wide TV and set his price, actually set his price and even shocked Neville with it. £100M, its unheard of, there is no doubt in my mind City have orchestrated all of this to get him cheaply. The thing is, they have never bought a player of Kane's regard and they have clearly never had to deal with Levy. He has mugged himself off for whatever reason thinking this would be easy. Levy has told him nothing more than he told Modric, "we will consider offers" if there was any more to it we would have heard it by now.

I don't blame Harry for wanting to leave, but the way he has made himself out after all the shit he has said is utterly bizarre. People take this as Levy has shafted him, I take it as City being fly and his brother being shit at his job.

Thing is if it fails City will just walk away. There can be no doubt shit has happened behind the scenes. City probably told Charlie to make as much protest as possible and then we will come in behind.

Trouble is if City where hoping to get a massive lowball £100m they miscalculated badly I assume guessing because of Covid we needed cash urgently. Now City will have to put a package together quickly to satisfy Levy or back off. If they back off then Kane is fucked, he has no move, 3 years left and he needs to play if he wants to break records, play for England and also move somewhere else next season.

Harry simply should have put a statement out that he wants to move but if no buyer comes will continue to be professional. Most fans could have accepted that, this looks like he is trying to force Levy to accept a lowball which will hurt the club. In effect Kane hurting his own club.

He had such a great rep, a legacy and leadership of his country to throw that in the bin, Jesus what a fool.

Give Citeh a deadline and a figure. If they don't meet it, too bad for them. Kane has to accept responsibility for his situation. Levy may have promised him a move for the right price. Some of the ex players supporting Kane have shown their true colours and disdain for Spurs. We don't need to accept any offer we don't feel reflects Kane's value. Kane knows this but is acting like a cunt.

I can't wait to "welcome" the citeh fans to WHL in 10 days.

Telegraph:

Harry Kane has ignored the threat of being fined by Tottenham Hotspur by spending another day in Florida and effectively ruling himself out of having to face Manchester City in the first game of the new Premier League season.

Telegraph Sport revealed on Tuesday that Kane had made a pit-stop in Florida on his way back from a holiday in the Bahamas, despite Tottenham’s disappointment that he did not return for pre-season training at the start of this week.

Tottenham are disappointed by his actions and are likely to fine their star player, but that threat did not stop Kane remaining in Florida on Wednesday and pushing back the date he can resume training even further into next week.

Kane plans to report back to Spurs at the weekend, but he is likely to only be able to take a Covid test at the club before then having to complete a period of isolation ahead of a return to training.

Tomorrow we find out Kane is in New York :kanehand:

"Tottenham are disappointed by his actions and are likely to fine their star player"

Is that all? Disappointed? Likely to fine? Too wishy washy for me and just shows the club don't care he hasn't come back yet. Not even an official statement, there is no direct and firm response from the club. It all stinks imo.

Fine him for every day he’s missed

Hope this was worth ruining his legacy for, going on strike before an official bid has even been made.

From that interview with Neville, when the season hadn’t even ended to now this, guy has no respect for the club or the fans.

If he ends up staying because city don’t wanna cough up the money, I don’t want to hear that chant sung this season, because one of our own he definitely is not .

So we’d be fucked for trying to get any decent players in for the season as January is always a shit transfer window
This is why Paratici was brought in, it will be his job to have players lined up this summer.

Don't forget what happened in 2013 when Bale was sold. Levy hired Baldini for the exact same reason to use his vast contacts and negotiation skills to bring in multiple players once Bale was sold.

Yup. No doubt City have told them both that they're near their limit and can't meet Spurs' demands, so it's either temper-tantrum time or no move.

The Eriksen goal incident gave me a red flag, he seems to have a difficulty realising what is acceptable as a player and how things can be seen. Its almost child like "I swear on my daughter life I felt the ball touched me", or something to that effect. As an adult you don't swear on your daughters life about anything, let alone do it live on TV.

Will never forget that year

I was like Danny Rose Googling as the latest one was announced

What a cock up apart from Eriksen

Bet shirt sales in the Club shop are brisk...

Joe needs to step in, get it done so we can sign 3 or 4 quality players and move forward.

He’ll be done in 24months, sell and sell quick, we can’t afford his level at end of career given our current squad needs IMO. Edit : read your post as writing this, much the same thought:
Here's a scenario - Kane stays, does permanent damage to his ankle this year, ends his career at Spurs. Value, £0.00.

I say sell him quickly, for £120m (ish) and buy a few players who WANT to play for the club. Sooner the better.

...oh and we go on to win the league, of course.

£160M and I agree. England Captain, World Cup Year with us about Favourites, 3x Golden Boot, current and assist golden boot, proven utter elite in prem (arguably in a league of his own in this regard presently).

His longevity will be lower than most peers, in likelihood, due to the regime he worked most years under and his physique. Sell sell sell. For our hidden reasons, not his selfish ones.

Pray Scarlett is Michael Owen break out level and some!

You know players have been forgiven or at least accepted before. Modric did that want to go to Chelsea things. It’s still in Kane’s power to knuckle down and get back playing once the transfer window closes by my god he needs to put out a statement soon.

It’s sad because his career has been wonderful to watch at this club, it’s been a pleasure to see how he has grown into an elite player and as a local player at that. Only Pochettino to me has been more important in recent decades and few players other than The likes of Vertoghen have embodied the club so well.

A member of this forum @bushillspurs who closed his account was his wife’s cousin and her family are fanatical Spurs fans so can’t imagine the mood there.

Why’s everyone suddenly ok with him going?

£180m minimum or they can fuck off. Letting him go is weak. It shows any future player that if you come to spurs, strike for a move, then you’ll get your way in the end.

Why should we help Man City out with taking their cast offs too however good they are? It’s their problem they signed them, gave them huge wages they wouldn’t get anywhere else and can’t sell them. Let them sell them on somewhere else for below market rate.

Absolutely fuck Man City. In no uncertain terms should we be dealing with them at all. It’s weak.
The simpering from certain quarters is sickening.

"Take him please! we're not worthy! just chuck us one or two of the rejects that you don't want because they are shit"
