This would have been so much cheaper if we had a plan back in 2017. I think they're gambling on Kane staying - but it's a hell of a risk.
In regard to the strike the only logical way it makes sense would be to strike and not train or play again for us. With Bale his strike was as RM and us where negotiating the terms to try and speed them up, currently there is no offer for Kane.
Thus him and his brother are either thick as pig shit and don’t know you strike to push through a deal once a deal is on the table or they have decided to try to make things so shit that the club accepts a dramatically lowball offer for Kane.
If it’s the second and he is trying to lowball the club (thus hurting the club) that is very serious and we would now be entering Sol Campbell territory of actively trying to hurt the club. For an England captain and model professional this is remarkable and a huge fall from grace, from leader to outcast and totally self inflicted.
